Great Backpack
Great size with multiple compartments. Easy on/ off. Appears to be real sturdy but haven’t had in the field yet. Would buy another.

Remarkably good for the price, could use more/better distributed compartments
I bought this after much thought, research and comparison to use in my Camino Francés hike. Most experienced hikers tend to recommend far more expensive brands and models, which were not within my budget.I was, therefore, very pleasantly surprised at how good this backpack turned out to be, and how well it performed. The material used is good quality, and the stitching is strong and well finished.I didn't pack it too heavily; kept it at about 8kg or so, but kept it fairly full with bulky items, such as a sleeping back, jacket and a change of clothes, plus food and two bottles of water. The bag was easy to pack, the various straps easy enough to understand and adjust, and after some experimentation, the weight distribution ended up being very good, and the pack was comfortable to wear for up to 6 or 7 hours of hiking per day. While using it, I found that the position of the water bottle holders made it very difficult to take the bottles out and put them back without removing the backpack, so that has some room for improvement. The bottom zippered compartment for holding shoes works, but it is a bit small. My shoes are size 9 US, and they were a tight fit. The compartment becomes almost unusable if you have packed the bag tightly and try to fit the shoes last. So if you're going to use it, make sure to pack the shoes first, then pack the rest. The only other issue I had was that I kept wishing that there were more outside pockets to store small items without having to take the bag off, open it and dig inside. The little pockets on the hip straps are nice and handy, but rather small. The bag is pretty water resistant by itself. With the rain cover included, it is as good as any more expensive brands. When hiking under heavy rain, I also had my ample poncho convering the whole thing, and the content of my backpack never got even slightly damp.Overall, I am pleased with the backpack and will use it again on my next hike.Considering the price, I think it is a hard-to-beat deal.

Great purchase
I’ve had my back pack for approx 3 years and it has worked for me very well. I have used it so much so I am ordering a new one because during my last trip the water pockets gîte torn from so much pulling, putting my hiking poles, an umbrella and stuffing it too much but it held my stuff even with the abuse lol. I originally bought it for my Kilimanjaro trip and used it as my day pack, and have used for a day pack during hikes several others times. Although it is not small, it isn’t too bulky to use as a day pack. I recently used it for my Camino de Santiago de Compostela - the French Way and it worked great. I carried about 12-14kg which was a lot but it all fit and I still had room to add a bit more. I like the different compartments which make it easier to separate certain items and find them right away when needed. And the belt with the little side bags is great (would be even better if there were a bit bigger). I was able to add a water bladder and it worked out nicely. The large space inside allows you to pack your items in different ways that will distribute the weight (you just have to play around to see how it best distributes and feels comfortable while wearing it). It is durable and very good to keep your stuff dry when it rains (when it was just light rain I didn’t put the cover right away and kept everything clear from getting wet). Though the pockets for the water bottle are not the easiest to use and often it is just easier to take off the pack and get the bottle but that is a hassle when you just want a sip and not stop during your walk/hike.I recommend this item and it is also a perfect as a carryon or personal items (if you don’t stuff it too much).

Great backpack!
This is an excellent bag, it's well made, you can fit a lot in it, it's comfortable. My boyfriend owns one from a different brand, he was shocked that I paid lass than $50 for this!

Good Pack - Possibly Defect Slider Adjust Lock Buckles
In April 2018 I purchased this pack. Planned to use this pack or traveling. Used the pack once in 2018, then it sat in a closet. August 2019 decided to start using the pack for rucking purposes. Started with 10 lbs of soup cans, and would walk 1 - 2 miles a day on very flat (FL) terrain, with the pack. Slow pace as I'm walking 2 senior dogs. The most the pack moves is when I bend over to pick up dog... The pack is comfortable, fits this larger man nicely and I have had no major issues. I have possibly over tightened the compression straps, as they have started to pull away (on both sides) from the bag. I re-stitched those belts.. Moved up to 30 lbs of sand for the pack. I learned in boy scouts use the shoulder adjusters to get the right fit and how to load a pack onto your back. The first Slider Adjust Lock Buckles broke in October. It broke in such a way to allow me to re-tie the shoulder strap and allowed me to keep using the pack for a few days until I could order a replacement. After that I stopped adjusting the shoulder straps daily. This (December) morning the other shoulder strap, slider adjustment lock buckle broke in such a way I had to deal with it for 1/4 of a mile. Tonight I will sew in a replacement buckle and keep rucking on. Just a little disappointing that both buckles broke within 2 months of one another. I know daily use can be hard, and the weight (30 lbs) isn't that much. Just wanted the community to know and plan ahead.
