IMPORTANT NOTE: Ladies who have never used mineral make up, go to YouTube or google for a video on how to apply it. Mineral make up is totally different than any other makeup and MUST be applied correctly or it will look cake-y and awful, as it did on me the first time I used it without knowing what I was doing. I cannot emphasize this enough: you HAVE to follow the instructions or don't bother - it will look horrible and you will hate it. Having said that, here is my review:I almost did not order this kit after reading the negative reviews, but I'm not sorry I did. I got the kit in medium from Beauty Plus for $25 and it was worth it for the price. Yes, the brush shed a bit and I'm using an old Bare Minerals brush instead, but the sizes are generous, the colors are good and I really like the blush; it's not sparkle-y at all and the shade works on me. I am a Bare Minerals gal, but I have to wear foundation every single day due to scarring and damage to my skin. Using the IQ on days I'm not doing a lot away from home saves me money and it's fine (just don't buy it for the brush lol). For $25 it's worth trying.

Product is nice. It came as described. The sizes are decent. The brush feels ok. Customer service is awesome. I bought tan but it was too light for me, I'm African American w/ light brown skin. When asked if I can be helped with finding a shade for my complexion, I received help very efficiently and quickly. The seller was very kind and generous. I would recommend I.q. naturals especially because of it's natural ingredients.

I don't usually review, but I appreciate reviews on makeup, so I would like to just say a few things about this and some other reviews. I have used bareMinerals in the past, but am finding it hard to afford now so I was looking for a great mineral replacement. First off, its a STARTER kit with SAMPLES of the makeup, so yes they will be small, every other starter kit of anything I have ever bought included small samples so I got what I was expecting. In saying that though, a little goes a LONG way. I am very impressed with the coverage, and that Bisque concealer is awesome! It covers my acne beautifully, again a little goes a long way. I do agree that you need to be careful opening them though, no sifters. But again, that was something I was expecting for a starter kit.The first day I used it I put way to much on and, like others have said, it was cakey by the end of the day, I don't think my oily skin helps that though (even bareMinerals does this with my oily skin when I get to much). The next day used a bit less and it looked much better. Today I used even less and it still covers my red zits, just a small swirl in the makeup and some taps on the lid for the right side of my face, same for the left and my forehead. The blush is a beautiful color on my fair skin and the eye shadows compliment me nicely. I haven't ever used bronzer so I'm not sure how that is, but I will give it a try. I got the foundation colors Fair and Fair 2 in my kit, Fair is a bit light on my skin, but I'll be about that color anyways in a month or two during the winter. Fair 2 will be perfect for my summer color. But right now I am mixing the two and its perfect.I also thought at first everybody was just being fussy about the brush that comes with it, but I do have to agree it is a little cheap. the hairs do come out, but I have yet to buy a brush that doesn't do that at first. The bristle are harder though. The solution to that problem? Just use a different brush if you don't like it, easy peasy.Over all I am pretty impressed, my verdict is still out because it's only been three days, but I think this will be a good daily makeup (I'll save my bareMinerals for special occasions). I'll update if anything drastically changes for me. But I would suggest to just give it a try. You get a lot of different product to test for a good price, which for how much I have used, looks like it will last a LONG time. Everybody's skin is different, this may or may not work for you, but you'll never know if you don't try. Follow their directions (which are included), use trial and error and figure out how it works on you.

BEST MAKEUP EVER!!!! I am in my 40's and I did not want to get hooked on a makeup that would bankrupt me, so I decided to try this. OMG, I cannot say how much I love this! The first 2 times I applied it I did get some caking, but it turned out that was MY fault, not the makeup. The third time I got it right and I will never use anything else. The primer is nice, it is thin so a little goes a long way. I even use it on my eyes. The foundations glide on like silk, and the brush feels fabulous. I will say I have tried using the bisque concealer as an eyeshadow primer as suggested, but it really toned down the pigment of my shadows and made them hard to blend. But it is wonderful as a concealer. The blush included is nice, but dark so you don't use much. Also, the bronze should be used very very sparingly if you don't want that orange dayglo look. The eyeshadows are nice, although I am not crazy about the honey color as it looks too orange on my skin. But you don't know what you like if you don't try it so I think this is a fabulous starter kit. SOOOO happy with this!

I've tried so many different mineral make ups and all have made my skin irritated until this one! It's super light and looks natural with beautiful coverage.

not great, but it'll do. I don't recommend if your skin is sensitive.

This product is absolute crap the colors suck! And the foundation turns into a paste if you sweat at all (it seems like the foundation is diluted with either talc or baby...

Perfect cover, yet looks natural. Love the primer and the powders and the brush is awesome.

I love the fact that this make up is more natural than anything you can get in the local stores. It's comparable to bare minerals and looks and feels natural.

Nice variety in products, but not as good as Bare Minerals. But a great purchase to just keep at work or in a travel bag.
