When u need more that a waterbottle
Awesome. No plastic taste in the reservoir and cost me less that the equivalent camelbak. This pack is extremely comfortable and well built. I forgot this was on my back mkst of the time. Highly recommend over camelbak for all day rides.... Or for just remote rides in high temps where u need more than a waterbottle.

Love it!
Great system. Even keeps it somewhat cold. Love using it for road and mountain biking, or hiking. Love the storage space, it is just what I need. Perfect for me!

Great pack but flawed bladder
The pack is well constructed and features a lot of well-thought out pockets and mesh organizers. The zipper that encloses the hydration bladder extends up onto the shoulder strap which keeps you from having to fish the hydration tube through any holes. The helmet holder is simple and very effective. Overall, it's a very nice pack and everything was 5 stars until I took a look at the bladder.I was expecting a normal Hydrapak bladder design, but it appears Osprey made some unfortunate changes to the Hydrapak manufactured bladder that comes with their pack. The bladder has a narrower than normal opening at the top, and some internal ribs. There's also a hard plastic piece permanently attached near the top of the bladder that the hose runs through for some silly reason. The end result is that the bladder is now VERY difficult to turn inside out to dry, which is the primary reason I love Hydrapak bladders. I also fear that those internal ribs are going to do nothing but provide places for mold to grow. Considering that the pack includes a clip/loop at the top of the bladder pocket to slip through the top of the bladder there's no reason the bladder needs any more stiffness or the tube needs any more guidance. Seems like Osprey's engineers just wanted to put their mark on the system, and as a result, overcomplicated Hydrapak's existing good engineering. I'll be purchasing a real Hydrapak bladder to use with this pack and tossing the one that came with it - removing one star for the added trouble and expense.
