Pretty good letter opener
It's a pretty straightforward product so there isn't much to say about it. It's fairly sturdy and works as advertised. The blade is sharp enough to open letters pretty easily but not too sharp that you have to be careful with it. I sometimes use it to open boxes too when I'm too lazy to go get my box opener.

Good buy for the price
The product arrived fast and was as advertised. I havnt had a chance to really use it or stress test it but the product seems sturdy and well crafted, it doesnt give off an impression of being unreliable or flimsy. Overall i am happy with my purchase and what i paid for the item.

Not the greatest non metal dirk but very versatile and afford.
This isn't the best non metal dirk on the market but its probably the most affordable. Making it great for other than hand to hand. Its a handy letter opener (obviously), great to modify in to a blunt trainer, use as a general piece of cutlery (I've been using one to serve up my cats food). Use it to figure out grip changes before you do them to the more costly dirks. Or just pick one up to see if nonmetal knives will actually suit your needs. So really nice carbon fiber knives can be fairly pricy, why not buy a few cheapys first. I bought 4 of these all for far less than a carbon fiber set up. The plastic used on these are fairly soft but in a pinch they would be better than a taco bell spork, but I honestly think these would fill so many other uses than a true hand to hand tool. And I'll be honest, I've been in the personal protection/ defense, military, martial arts field for some time. Unless you're planning on sneaking a blade past a simple metal detector (IE breaking the law or planning to harm someone offensively) nonmetal knives are neat but kind of a novelty... by a cheap knife and see if the phase passes before getting into the really good nonmetal knives. BTW no matter how great of a nonmetal knife you buy or make will still be very limited in use compared to steel.

Many household uses beside a weapon.
Originally purchased for their defensive potential, they've been used for everything except weapons. They make a great scraping tool. So far, they've been used for:-opening letters-scraping ice without scratching the windshield-ripping fabric seams without cutting fabric-most recently scraping shower tiles. It seems the blade material's hard enough to effectively scrape off hardened (soap?) deposits but soft enough that it won't scratch ceramic tiles. And, the blade's holding up very well. So, several live in the plumbing tool box now.

Be careful that this is what you want
This is much more letter opener than "covert defense tool." Blade is softer plastic than other similar "weapons grade" plastic knives. Does not hold an edge or point to my satisfaction. Fine as a novelty item but I would pay a bit more if I anticipated using it for personal defense. Plastic knives do have a legitimate role as a deep back-up weapon due to low cost, light weight and imperviousness to water, saltwater or sweat.

Edc office supplies
Perfect for opening letters where your not allowed a letter opener.... Very functional for self defense but remember, it is more menacing than a kubaton and can get you in trouble if you accidentally carried where you shouldn't. Otherwise, grab a bunch and stash em'!
