Perfect replacement and comes with all the parts needed including waterproof grease nuts. I previously purchased one from another seller that was more expensive and missing the handle. Next time I need one I will order this again.

I searched for the solenoid that would fit my system. These are not something you run down to home depot or lowes and grab off the shelf. These were ordered and sent out fairly quickly. But wonder why the original solenoid on the Rainbird valve shorted with less than a year of use. Hope this will last longer.

This is the second Rainbird solenoid valve I've bought as a replacement and they've worked fine and very easy to install. The originals must have been defective as they only lasted about 5-6 years.

This was purchased as a spare unit, so not in service at this time. It is a genuine Rain Bird part, so should be OK.

The product received matched the online description and works. Taking off one star because it didn't include any instructions. In particular, it comes with a threaded adapter (called "adapter assembly" in the online description) to fit different size valves. As delivered, this adapter was screwed onto the solenoid and it all looked like a single piece. I tried to install the solenoid and couldn't because the threaded end was too large. I thought "Oh crap! I got the wrong part." and was getting ready to return it. It was only after looking closely at the online picture and comparing it to what I had that I realized there were two pieces and the adapter unscrews from the solenoid. A simple set of instructions would have helped!

Works as they should. I had one submerged in the valve box under ground. One worked fine and another was shot but this fixed it.

Arrived on time. Everything included. Easy install. Worked great!
