LOVE IT!
I purchase the Kelty Coyote 70L bag bc I needed a great hiking bag, and Kelty is know for having awesome bags. I currently have a Kelty Ultra Tioga, which is a super huge external hiking backpack that can fit everything, including the kitchen sink. I've had it 4 several yrs & really do love it. However, I am going on a long hiking trip & wanted to try a female formed fitting hiking bag. This bag is perfect for what i need & then some. There r so many pockets, absolutely love that, I especially love the fact u can get into the bag thru the top, bottom and middle of the bag. I love the carry handles it has on the outside. I love the little pocket on both sides of the hip belt. I love how i can adjust the straps on me & everything fits perfectly, do to the perfect fit mechanism. Can't wait to go hiking w it. What I put in the pack: 3person kelty night owl tent & footprint, a kelty womans cosmic 20 sleeping bag, clothes(not shown-1 rain jacket, 1 dress, 1 skirt, 1 jacket, 1 sweater, 2 lg sleeve, 2 short sleeves, 2 tanks, 2capri, 6 underwear, 6 socks 3 sport bras- all rollable and compact), Go For Wild headlights, kindle, cellphone (holding it) w charges, medical kit (1 of the 3 sm bags) sewing & water filter(1 of the 3 sm bags), personal kit (1 of the 3 sm bags), cooking pot w fire starting items & cookwear, a camping chair (Hitorhike), klymit sleeping pad, sea to summit 25+ reactor extreme, solar charger, solar lights (4inside my tent), sandisk music player, CNON water bag & etc, it is not even heavy...& it can hold more (my husband is carrying the food bc I'm carrying the tent). All I have to say is if u r unsure about purchasing this bag, don't be, it is worth every penny.

Well, back packing is one of those things on my bucket list. That means I am very inexperienced with packing a bag. I was extremely irritated that all the pockets were upside down, but figured there must be a reason for it. I was irritated that the part you could take off and carry separately was on the bottom. Then, I went to put the pack on. Those of you who are experienced would probably think I should just stay home and knit or something. Turns out, that big padded thing goes around your waist and not your neck - I packed the thing upside down. (I'm not going anywhere far or alone) The bag is quite comfortable. It holds a ton of stuff, including a small tent and lots of bandaids. I wish it were waterproof because if there's a chance for me to get it wet, I'll get it wet. I'd give it 5 stars if it were waterproof. I haven't headed out yet, so I can't say if it's durable, but it appears to be. It will suffice for my needs anyway.

Can't go wrong with a Kelty!
I ordered the Kelty Coyote 70 for a backpacking trip into the Grand Canyon and LOVE it. I really debated between the 60 and 70 and while I believe the 60 would have been sufficient I'm glad to have the extra space the 70 provides. I was nervous that it would be too large and heavy after the gasps of some well respected backpacking friends but I'm glad I went with my gut. It was comfortable and easy to adjust. The storage space is amazing so be careful to not overpack or you'll hate life out on the trail. I'm 5'7", and about 127 pounds and was able to get this thing on and adjusted on my own. It easily held 4 days worth of supplies with extra room. Definitely a great purchase!

Love this Pack!
My husband and I bought Kelty Coyote backpacks before a ten day BWCA trip. We found them to be extremely comfortable and highly customizable for our needs. The grab loops and gear loops all over made trying to lift the packs out of a canoe in water and off the ground in general SO much easier than the other packs we had to carry on this trip. Our more difficult portage trails were a good test on comfort and stability of this pack, I have nothing negative to say. You can get into the pack from the top, front and bottom which was awesome when you needed rain gear, food or other gear in a pinch without having to repack the whole pack. The little stash pockets all over are awesome for the little items like bug spray, sunscreen, knife, TP etc. The packs had to sit in a little bit of standing water in the boats and rain, our gear inside was still dry after. The only thing I can say is that the larger zippers tend to be a little tough to work with at times but if it stays functional and keeps water out, I can deal with that.

Perfect Backpacking Pack for Women
I'm an avid backpacker and I tend to buy packs on the slightly larger side so I have flexibility. Loaded this with 30lbs for an overnight trip and it was extremely comfortable with tons of room to spare. I've carried up to 60lbs before and I have a lot of confidence this bag with go the distance in that scenario as well. So many compartments for organization, and I love the top loading, bottom loading, and front loading options. Could easily convert this into a travel pack with that many access points to the inside of the pack. Highly recommend!

Fits perfectly for women!
I absolutely love this pack! It has so much space and pockets are great. It's comfortable and the padding is very thick. Best thing is it is truly made for women. I'm a larger woman and this pack fit perfectly. I tried several different packs and this one is the most comfortable and truly does distribute the weight of the pack evenly. I highly recommend!

Great bag, great quality.. but too big for my needs.
Super comfy to wear, the color is not my favorite (grey and purple). Material seems sturdy and i love the extra pockets for organization. But I want to use my back pack asa carry on and the backing is very firm making it too long for carry on restrictions. I haven’t tried taking it in a flight I don’t want to chance having to check baggage on my international flight. Will be going with something smaller.

Kelty makes a great product
Love it. I’m 5’3 with a short torso and big butt. Great adjustability and thy comfortable. No hot-spots at all for me. Compartments are useful and easily accessible. I’m new to backpacking and I think I did pretty well for my first “real” backpack purchase. Downside is trying to get my water bottle in...a little hard to reach the side pockets while wearing, but I haven’t tried on one yet where that’s any easy task for me.
