Perfect for any Legend of Zelda fans.
The only *good* picture I have of the sword currently is, unfortunately, this one beside my wedding cake lol. But the sword IS life size, sturdy, and beautiful. I purchased it for the intent to cut our wedding cake and to have it as a collectors item to display. The sword does not come sharpened, I'm not sure why people think it would. It's a collectors item/prop. I'm sure you could sharpen it yourself if you truly desired. The only "issue" I had with mine was it didn't come with the strap that's pictured. Some people got one, I didn't, but it's not a deal breaker. Mine came with the sword inside of the scabbard within the shipping box. It was packaged very well with no wiggle room. The sword definitely has some heft to it. It's a beautiful collectors item and it is definitely worth the price. The blade is not plastic, it's definitely metal. The whole thing is made very well, including the scabbard.

Great value
First off, I think this is a great sword! I think the sword itself is beautiful, albeit slightly lighter then I was expecting. So hereโs the ruff...While itโs incredibly long I was hoping the blade itself would be slightly thicker. I think itโs probably the steel itโs made out of. Obviously itโs not sharp, except for the tip which is very sharp! Itโs well done. The exterior of the sheath is very nice looking! Whatever materials used for the inside of the sheath however could be better. Whatever it is itโs always leaving particles on the blade. Itโs not the best material to use. To only other issue I have is the strap. Iโm 5โ6โ 185 lbs and the strap is very tight. With the sword as long as it is, it would have been nice if the strap was longer to adjust better for wearing it. Because itโs so tight itโs not great to wear because it doesnโt sit right. It makes the sword act more like wings on both sides.I realize there was a lot of negative but if this is something you plan to hang, or pose with photos, itโs an amazing addition to any sword collection. Plus for the money, it truly is a great value.

Fantastic, nostalgic- but not durable
Fantastic piece of work- even sharpened- but the pommel is loose and it jiggles, which makes me concerned for safety and aging. It is a present for my son who also loves Zelda/Link- I highly recommend it for display, and if they fix the slightly loose blade issue, it will be fantastic especially for the price! Craftsmanship is not a five because it isnโt handmade- and/ornthere is a little โChinaโ on the bottom of the blade.EDIT: December 2019. My son took his new gift out to try it on some vines: he had a lot of fun, but unfortunately it loosened the sword even worse than the original we received. He was very upset, and my wife worried she shouldnโt have let him. We got the sword for decoration but also cosplay and fun, for my 14 year old. It needs tightening but there is a risk taking it apart to so so will damage it.A beautiful show sword, good balance, nice edge, but its durability is very low. Very disappointed. First sword was loose to start with, replacement became loose after single use.

Very well built and highly recommend!!!
Absolutely beautiful sword and very well built. It feels solid and has no rattle whatsoever. The edge isn't overly sharp but that's okay. It's weight is perfect as well as the length. I was surprised how nice this is and it's definitely worth the money. Great for cosplay or collectors.

Heavily Flawed, Though Beautiful Sword.
First off, I must say the sword looks brilliant on my wall, but not before some minor changes or without some complaints.Let me start with that the sword looks rather stunning, but it is prone to some craftsmanship flaws.First being the sword feels loose in the pommel, and though it says that it's "full tang" the blade still feels loose.Second, the crossed strap wrap on the handle looks white in the picture, but is actually a light blue or cyan. Frankly, it looks terrible with the rest of the sword. I removed it and now the sword has that classic, solid blue handle and looks great.Next let's talk about the blade. The blade looks great, with the Triforce and Hylian Script laser etched into the blade. However the runes only cover about 3/4 the blade's fuller. It's pictured that way on it's product page but it definitely looks more awkward in person than I was expecting. Also, it doesn't look the Hylian actually says anything. My roommate, who can "sort of" read Hylian, says it looks like random letters. There is nothing in the product description that explains this either. Last bit about the blade but most important. The description says that the blade is Carbon Steel and can be sharpened and used. However, the blade looks, feels and bends just like regular Stainless Steel. When I received the sword, the blade was badly bent, I carefully straightened it out and everything was fine, but it's not something that could be so easily accomplished with Carbon Steel. The Scabbard is incredible. Not a single complaint. Looks even better in person.Lastly if you are buying this for someone else, or are not a true Legend of Zelda fan, this is NOT the Skyward Sword Master Sword. It looks more like the one from Oracle of Ages/Seasons.

Very Sharp Point
My husband absolutely LOVES the Zelda games, and I got this as a wedding present for him. The sword looks fantastic except for a few minor things that you would have to be inspecting the sword to see. The tip is extremely sharp, but the rest of the blade is fairly dull. It's wonderful for display, but I don't know how good it would be to actually use. He loves it, and whenever anyone comes over, he loves to show it off. He uses it as part of his backdrop for his gaming streams. Overall, fantastic purchase for what I wanted. Couldn't have been better.
