Excellent Backpack
Initially I couldn't decide between the 21 & 23ltr and chose this. When it arrived my first thought was that it was too small and overpriced for what it was. After further looking over the bag in more detail it soon became apparent that the price reflects the quality of this product. Constructed of hard-wearing material, quality zippers and lots of organisation in the way of pockets. There is easy access to the main compartment and all in all I am very pleased. My only negative was the depth of the outer pockets I don't think these will retain anything other than a small drinking bottle without it falling out.I intend to use this as my carry-on bag for a trip to Turkey it will easily hold my camera and Maxpedition Neatfreak. I have removed the velcro strip divider and will use the compartment for documents and maps with access available from each side of the back.Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

3 years of use so far
I have been using this as a daily carry for work, weekend carry for kids items and on trips as our main carry. For work I have used it daily to bring materials with my to see clients and carry my pc. It has done well, it is rigid but still looks new after three years of daily use. With the kids on weekend this has survived water parks, theme parks, and camping. Nothing has broken and it keeps everything dry in rain or even on splash mountain in Disneyland. The water resistance is impressive. The outside is completely wet and the drink holders are filled with water but inside it stays dry. When coming back from camping I use a hose and spray it off and it looks new. No stains, no rips, and frayed edges. Works well. Only problem I can see is if you had a large labtop over 15 inches it might be hard to get it in. Otherwise it’s great and has been very comfortable even on a hike down the Grand Canyon.

Versatile and has handgun pouch
I bought this cause I needed a carry backpack. It is great for that purpose and fits small to med frame autos. It has great storage. I don't like the way it distributes the weight, it seems to hang lower on the back than high on the shoulders. Maxpedition makes great stuff, and it is a quality bag.

Love this bag so far.
Just got my bag in today and excited to load it up. First impressions are i love it. Has everything i was looking for for an edc/toddler bag. Has room for my edc and things for my little one. Pleanty of pockets. Internal drink pockets. External drink pockets. Truely love this bag. And maxpedition is known for well made products.

Mine isn’t symmetrical, but it’s still a good bag.
The bag I got is not symmetrical, causing it to be slightly odd looking. The quality of materials and all the stitching looks and feels great. The bag seems durable. Esthetics are not that important, but I am kind of anal. The fact that the right side magnet doesn’t easily line up when using it to keep the main pocket held shut is irritating. I figured for the money, craftsmanship shouldn’t be an issue.

and fits better than other gear I used to wear
Really low key, quality construction. I’ve been carrying this around for a week, and fits better than other gear I used to wear. Great for EDC and keeping a low profile.
