Great flavor
The Goya Gandules are great, clean, and perfect for traditional dishes. They cook evenly and keep a nice, firm texture without getting mushy. The flavor is rich and earthy, exactly what you want for recipes like arroz con gandules, stews, or soups. I also appreciate that the beans come well sorted with very few broken pieces or debris, which isn’t always the case with other brands. Unlike their pozole corn, this is a great product without bugs in the bag. Excellent in Cuban rice. Plus, you can plant the dry beans and grow bearing plants.
