I eat a lot of tinned fish as part of a keto diet: sardines, salmon, mackerel, rainbow trout, among a few exotic others. This is a very important part of the diet for me; each fish has slightly different benefits and freshwater rainbow trout is one of the best, nutritionally. Fishwife is pricey and in some cases it seems like I’m paying for packaging more than for product but these are fantastic. I have found other companies that have a tinned trout but in soy or seed oil, etc. These are worth it, in my opinion. I only eat a few a month so the price isn’t too big a deal. Great taste, size and the oil is high quality (always important with tinned fish!)

This trout is perfectly smoked and packaged, and I will definitely be buying more, as long as it remains available!

This smoked rainbow trout is surprisingly tasty, even though it’s quite expensive for a tin can fish. Our family prefers tin fish over any other snack meat when we snack on it with cheese and crackers and we all agreed that this is the best tin fish we’ve ever had! Definitely I buy this on a special occasion.
