Lightweight Enhanced Nylon MA-1 Flight Jacket – Bomber Style Spring Fall Coat

The jacket was of reasonable quality, and fit as I expected. The initial quality was good for the money; however, you can tell the difference in quality between the Rothco jacket and the Alpha Industries jacket. Don't get me wrong, the Rothco jacket is well made but the Alpha Industries jacket is just better. Usually the Alpha Ind jacket is about $150 while the Rothco is about $60 but if you look hard at the right time of year you can sometimes find Alpha Industries jackets for around $75. My advice is to look hard at many websites and see what's around. Buy the jacket in the middle of the summer when you'll just hang it up until you need it in early spring or fall. I purposely bought the thin jacket without insulation because I live in Southern California and usually don't need anything more 'till winter for maybe a month. I ended up returning the jacket partly because of the feel compared to and Alpha jacket and partly because it does not suit my purposes. FYI I own an Alpha Ind L2-B Natus, which has a removable hood and little insulation...perfect for all but the coldest wettest SO cal days. if you have never owned an Alpha industries jacket buy the Rothco and you'll be happy.

Jacket is excellent quality for the price. I ordered an Alpha Industries version of this prior to ordering this Rothco jacket. I returned the AI product due to a size issue and ordered this instead. While the Alpha Industries is a slightly better jacket it is not worth the extra $90. I highly recommend this jacket.

Great jacket, just a touch to small. I'm 6' and bigger guy weighing in at 245lbs having ordered the XXXL thinking that it would have plenty of room. Unfortunately it is just a little tight in the mid section. The quality and and stitch work are really nice. Materials are great at the price point and you should feel good about ordering one. Definitely a nice MA-1.

15 year old was happy with it, looks good on him. Since new and not really used I'll update with issues but so far a very happy kid which makes happy parents and a fair price vs. the links he sent us....

One the best nostalgic flight jackets I've bought in a long time. Buy one, and you wont regret it!

Nice lightweight fit nicely on him, he likes the color Blue on him.

Very light weight. Not what I expected. I've had many nylon flight jackets but this one has hardly any insulation. Strictly a mild weather jacket.

Excellent quality, great value, looks great, I may get another in a different color.
