ASICS Men's GEL-Envigor TR Cross-Training Shoe

I bought these ASICS to be used as true cross-trainers as I'm recovering from ACL surgery. For physical therapy, I tried using my Nike Zoom Vomeros but they were way too soft when standing still, trying to do leg raises and such, so I got these ASICS since they were a good price. I'm usually a Nike guy because I like the AIR technology and I have a thinner foot so they usually fit me well. These ASICS fit well right out of the box, thankfully. I literally put them on and went to physical therapy with no break-in period. They felt great. Very stable for one legged exercises. My ankle didn't feel like it was going to collapse. They are also very light. Not at light at my Nike's but they are light for cross trainers with a lot of stability. The gel in the shoes provides a good amount of comfort without being too soft. I've now worn these shoes to 5+ therapy sessions and to work and when running around on errands and they are great. My foot doesn't get tired, I haven't had any blisters and the simply styling of them go well in the summer with shorts. Love the contrasting light blue on gray. They look just like the photo, btw. Maybe the gray might be a bit lighter in person, but not much lighter. Great shoe at a great price. As my therapy gets more intense, I think these shoes will continue to work well.

I love the look of these shoes. Asics hasn't always been the best looking shoes, but recently they kicked up their efforts. I've been an Asics customer for years because I'm a runner. It was by word-of-mouth that I even became a customer.These shoes in particular fit well for a flat-sole foot, like me. If you have arches you may experience a little discomfort as they are not formed for that, just be aware.Also, I've always gone up a size in Asics, and I did for these too, and as expected these are perfect.

I love those all around sport shoes. I use them mostly in the gym. They fit and feel very well and have great grip.

I am on my feet all day at work, so I bought these to replace my old ASICS because of the "GEL" technology. They really are very comfortable even after about a month or two of use. I took one star away from it because the exterior of the shoe does not seem to be very durable. About a week or two into the use of this pair of shoes, I noticed the rubber on the very tip of the shoe was starting to become un-glued. My guess is just cheap glue was used, or maybe not enough. Also, the blue line around the base of the shoe is only a latex-like coating, which has begun to peel off in one place. These issues seem common in clothing in general these days, so I can't say it comes as much of a surprise. Overall, it is a really comfortable shoe. I think it will last a while, it just won't look as nice as it probably should.

Appears to be a well built shoe. Great support, Shoe box could be larger, great price. Many similar shoes have a sole with a large footprint, this one does not so when training the shoe feels great. I already like these shoes better than "newbalance" at half the cost.A friend I work out with suggested this shoe and she was right - it's right for me!

Good and well made overall, fair price and it looks good but wish it had more padding. I have used it 4 times and it feels very flat.

I like the shoe colors , but just noticed the bottom black part of tread has disconnected from both the right and left shoes. about 1/10 the tread on the left shoe and 25% of the tread on the right shoe. i have never before experienced issues with such poor quality construction of a shoe

Asics makes the best shoe for my feet which have become more prone to neuropathy. Comfortable, roomy and good looking. Highly recommend this brand.
