A ++ to feel safe about what my family is drinking. Excellent Cassia Cinnamon Sticks.
I realized I have never had Cassia Cinnamon sticks only Ceylon which I recently bought Spice Profile's ground Ceylon Cinnamon. Don't expect a real strong fragrance or flavor that we are all familiar with using cinnamon with 'fragrance' additives. Spice Profile Cassia and Ceylon Cinnamon are exactly as they should be. But what an A ++ to feel safe about what my family is drinking. ++Spice Profile went the extra mile to ensure the safety and purity of their cinnamon products....THANK YOU! I will be buying these for my cinnamon tea brews from now on. : ) < 3 I used a soft mallet to break the stick into pieces and simmered in milk with Chai and star anise for a Chai Latte (all organic of course). Maybe I didn't need to break the stick up. Since they are large I can just add 1 whole stick to the simmer. I got a milder 2nd steep (Total of 4 regular tea cups) out of everything. 2nd simmer was just as flavorful. What a wonderful wonderful drink! And I can distinguish the cinnamon from the other flavors. Very pleasant, relaxing and nice. I guess you can't experience the wonderful fragrance until it is simmered. I didn't keep these in the mylar ziplock bag as some mentioned a problem I repackage everything in glass jars to keep foods fresh and away from touching mylar/aluminum and plastics. For Spice Profile: For the holidays can you find narrower or even a bit shorter cinnamon sticks. And in larger quantity bags? I really would like to tie some sticks up and add to gifts. Thank you!

Love this stuff! Smells so good, very fresh, adds great taste to my elderberry syrup! Quality is excellent for the value. Good sizing, not skinny or broken.

Great fresh product! The flavor and smell are so nice. Only downside is that the pieces are a bit thick and big so if you need it for something smaal you might have too much. but I cut some in half with a sharp knife. Did the trick for me. I highly recommend this product .
