Best Naturals L-Methionine 500 mg 120 Veggie Capsules

Says to help you sleep...hasn't worked for me

Started taking I don't have the 30 minutes waiting for my brain to turn off just fall asleep. I only take 3-4 times a week on work nights. I stay asleep wake up no problem.

I bought it and definitely helps with clearing the mind before bed at night.

Methionine, Taurine and Glycine, added to my sleep supplements (multi vitamins with extra C, D and B1, niacinamide, tryptophan / HTP, melatonin, GABA, phenylalanine, Calcium-Magnesium and protein) have helped me even more.

My vet actually told me to get this powder for my little dog who gets crystals in his bladder - and this product helps balance the PH in his urine. Sorry it's not for me - so I can't say how it tastes but he eats it on his food and loves it!

Methionine is not a commonly taken supplement, so there aren't that many brands of it out there. This seems to be a decent quality product, but it does contain flow agents (silica and magnesium stearate).Many companies have stopped using them as they can cause digestive upset in people who take multiple supplements daily containing them.The capsules are normal size and not hard to swallow. Methionine has a certain taste and odor (not unpleasant) and these do have that odor... so it is real Methionine.
