This case is best case. When I bought my Moto Z, it already came with a plastic bumper case. It sucked and fell off every time I dropped my phone, so it was basically useless. Then I bought this rubber case instead. The fit is snug, and has never come close to falling off when I've dropped my phone. It also easily lets me swap my Mods without getting in my way. If you're gonna buy a bumper case for your first gen Moto Z, this should be it.

In general the fit is not good. It is very hard to put the case on a Moto Z force Droid. Once you manage to get it on the phone, the phone, buttons are very difficult to use. The show-stopper is that you cannot charge the phone with the case on. I finally ended up cutting the case to make room for the USB charger cable connector. At least now I can use a mod and have at least some modicum of protection for the phone. Better than nothing.

Buttons are a bit firm and takes some breaking in. Fits my moto Droid z force 👌

Make sure you are ordering this for the exact phone. It fits my Moto Droid Z. I’d rather keep my phone in an otterbox, but when using moto mods, that’s not an option. This works great when using the standard and/or turbo battery mods, but I have not used it for any others. It aids in holding the phone more securely, and gives a bit more protection than a naked phone. My one complaint is that it does not fit properly with the standard back plate. The two battery mods I own have a sort of notch at the bottom that the standard plate does not have. What this results in is an inability to charge the phone when the standard plate is attached. Works great with the mods or no plate, but not with it. Minor inconvenience, but enough to take off a star. Otherwise great product...good luck finding any other “case” that works with the mods.

Feels like a starter/intermediate case.Ordered this case after specifically reading that it fits the Moto Z Droid. I'm really surprised that Verizon would make a case that fits so poorly. The case is very loose, and while it does fit around the phone as a bumper, the phone is able to slide around with 1/16" to 1/8" wiggle room. It feels like it will slip off going in and out of a pocket.Since there are very few cases that are compatible with the Tumi Power Pack and Moto Mods in general I'll keep it for now. As soon as I can find a full backed case that is compatible with Tumi this thing is history.

it looks nice but if your mobile is moto z force droid then don't buy it, this case doesn't fit.

This thing is a joke. Hard to get on, harder plastic than I thought it would be, buttons on side for volume and power are barely working because the case doesnt line up properly, same with charging port. Not one thing about this case makes it worth buying it. Waiting for someone else to make a better bumper that can be used with mods. Until then I am leaving the mods off and using a normal rubber case.
