⁃ before buying this TV to use for (Over The Air) OTA TV viewing, go to [...] or dtv.gov/maps to see what channels you get in your zip code area. OTA TV is area/region specific and signals for various TV stations vary from area to area. If your area has poor reception on the channels you are looking for, just get cable. This has nothing to do with the TV. ⁃ I purchased it for OTA TV. You can use it in other ways such as viewing video through the AV cables or via USB. It also has a SD card slot. I don't see why it wouldn't work with the latest stream sticks such as Roku, Chromecast 1st generation, Amazon fire stick and so on... ⁃ As a TV, it is excellent, provides high definition content and will deliver the signal that is sent to it by the antenna, hence the need to research on your available channels in your area. ⁃ The 'high power antenna' that they provide in the package is useless if you want to use it to get OTA channels. You have to buy another antenna. I purchased the' 1byone' antenna which had good reviews and is powered/amplified. Using any antenna without an amplifier will get you few channels if any. ⁃ Setup is relatively easy. It comes with a set of manuals in different languages, a stand with a bottom for stability, 2 sets of 'rabbit ears' antennas (they don't work, get a separate amplified antenna) AV cables and a remote control. ⁃ The remote control works well as it should in close proximity. ⁃ The tv has a jack for earphones. The earphones function works well but remember that the sound you will get for OTA TV will depend on how good your signal is. So, if the channel has noise or distortion, then you shall hear it in your earphones (and in the external speakers of course. ⁃ The external speakers are decent, alright for this size of TV, not Dolby surround spectacular. If you want good quality sound just get external speakers and use the earphones/headphones 3.5 mm Jack. ⁃ When the reception is good, the picture quality is very good, high definition like. For the price and size, you can't complain about the picture quality. ⁃ However, when the signal is poor/intermittent, the picture gets stuck on screen, has pixelation, disappears and you get a blank screen and so on and forth. It can be very frustrating. ⁃ Once connected to the amplified antenna, it searches for the stations quickly and quite well. However, this is obviously linked to the antenna and not the TV itself. ⁃ It has a AC/DC volt outlet charger, so you can charge it to a socket. It also comes with a car (cigarette lighter) charger, so you can plug it into your round car power socket. ⁃ It has decent battery time when fully charged, about 2 hours. I would say it takes about 1 hour to fully charge. The pictures shown look a bit 'blurred' but that is the phone camera, not the actual picture. The actual picture is amazing!

I purchased the Axess to be used when the power goes out. When I received it I realized that I made an unskillful choice. A more skillful choice for power outages is the RCA DHT235A RCA DHT235A 3.5-Inch LED-lit 720p 60Hz TV (Silver) The Axess 7-inch LCD TV uses rechargeable batteries. The included batteries are not meant to be removed, just like an IPhone. According to the instructions, the batteries only last 2 hours. The reason that I mentioned, "according to the instructions," is because I have never seen the Axess 7-inch work. I charged the Axess 7-inch LCD TV for a couple of days and gave up attempting to use the Axess TV to view any television shows. The screen never even flickered. There maybe a trick to getting it to work. I don't know the trick After many frustrating experiences with the Axess 7-inch television, I tried the RCA DHT235A. The RCA DHT235A worked like a charm. I inserted the batteries into the DHT235A, moved the on switch to on, and TV shows appeared on the device. For power outages, a rechargeable television set, like the Axess, is not a skillful choice. After two hours, the Axess 7-inch television will die, according to the instructions (I have never seen the Axess 7 inch LCD TV actually work). You can't replace the batteries of the Axess 7-inch LCD TV. With the RCA DHT235A, replacing its dead batteries is easy. Personal experience with the RCA DHT235A indicates that the batteries last about 2 1/2 hours. The Axess 7-inch LCD TV seems to be built well. I looks like it was built like a tank. I have never seen the Axess 7 inch LCD TV actually work. You can see that the makers of the Axess 7 inch LCD TV do not put a priority on documentation. That is where they saved their money. Instead of printing a booklet, they printed all of their instructions on two sheets of paper. Printing four pages per sheet. I have good eyes, but my friends do not. My friends cannot read the small print that consisted of the Axess 7-inch LCD TV documentation. Even with my good eyes, I never could figure out how to turn on the Axess 7 inch LCD TV to enjoy television shows. I did not need the documentation that came with the RCA DHT235A. The RCA DHT235A worked immediately after I inserted the batteries.

I use this in my RV. Great picture.. The control buttons are small and hard to see but do work well. The remote actually helps me avoid the small control buttons. It comes with an adapters to connect to a coaxial cable that can run the aerial antenna mounted on the roof of the RV. You also can connect it cable TV, just go into the setup menu and specify the type of connection and then the auto scan for channels. It also comes with an aerial antenna which does a decent job if you are close to the TV broadcast locations. It also comes with a Audio / Video AV 3.5mm to 3-RCA connector so you can connect it to a DVD or streaming device such a Roku 2. It does not have a HDMI connector. It has a memory card slot and USB connector. I have not tried them out yet. The speaker is okay in a quiet environment. I am hearing challenged so I often use the head set connector. You can run a cable from the headset connector to an auxiliary connector on an input to audio device with better speakers such as the RV radio. It has it's own internal battery, It also comes with a 12 VDC adapter you can plug into your auto 12 adapter port. Then it has an 110 vac adapter your can plug it into a wall adapter. I have not tested the run time with the internal battery. There are two power on switches. There is a sliding switch on the side which connected the power internally. You must have this switch in the on position to charge the battery or have the TV in a ready state. Then the push button on the right top corner actually turns the display on. Its all real simple. Just don't overlook the power button on the side. You will see a red led come on that indicates it is charging. I found it charges quicker with the standard 110 VAC than the 12 VDC adapter. I did notice when using the 12 VDC adapter and having the TV display on when it's in a charging state the wire on the 12 VDC adapter gets pretty warm. Something to be aware of. The stand is a bit cheapy but does the job. Other than that I am pleased with this TV set as space is limited in the RV. UPDATE: 07/2018 Still using this TV and it still works great in the RV. The optional ports come in very handy. I am hard of hearing and have the TV connected to my desktop stereo. Also I have a Roku connected. I love this product. Well made, small and versatile.

This little 9 inch TV is exactly what I was looking for! I have a couple of uses in mind for it by the way ;) Currently it's being used as an extra TV in our house (I work from home and it's in my office so I can catch the news/weather as I need for my job). Another use I have planned for it is when we are camping but the main reason I picked this up is for our off grid cabin. I chose the 9in because it's still big enough to see clearly without straining but also because it's small enough to be really portable. The other main reason I chose this TV was for the rechargeable battery which is precisely what I was wanting. I have tried it out for a couple of days now, both plugged into power and using the battery. It's worked wonderfully and I can't wait to try it at the cabin next! The picture is not HD but that was not a concern for me (and the picture is fine for my purpose). The sound could be better but I also picked up a solar speaker from Amazon and when plugged in the combo is awesome! The USB and SD slots will most likely go unused by me as I have other devises to view pics and avi files on. The AV jacks could come in handy if we want to splurge and play a little xbox or something one night. The antenna's that came with the unit work just fine but I also have a 50 mile one that I tried out and was able to get more channels than with the smaller supplied ones. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is when I took the stuff out of the box it looked like it had already been opened by someone else and though all the parts were there and mostly packed like new the biggest thing I noticed was on the clear film over the TV screen there was some sort of dried jelly glob and scratches. Once I removed the film, the TV was fine but still, dried jelly...eww. For the price, functions (can receive HD channels people!), and portability/rechargeable battery I would recommend this product.

Neat little TV. other reviews have detailed the antenna 'problem". The included two antennas are useless, but I connected my large attic hi gain antenna and this TV worked very well. It had a great picture and nice set of controls, that allow complete control from the buttons included on the TV itself, so that if you lose that tiny remote, the TV can still be operated with all functions available. My main disappoint is because I wanted it for use in my car, and now to do so, I need to purchase a much better antenna to be able to use it. Having just gone through Hurricane Harvey, I was reminded of one of my main complaints about local media. Radio stations almost never report real time local news, and in this case all local radio stations were shut down by the power outrage. On the other hand, all three local TV stations had generators and continued broadcasting even though only 10 percent of the population still either had power or had a DC powered TV with a decent antenna (I did). Everybody has a DC powered radio, if nowhere else but in their car. Why do TV stations broadcast emergency real time info while very few, if any, radio stations do? One exception was KTRH 740AM in Houston, but I am in Corpus Christi, so that was no help to people in our area where Harvey was a cat 4 when it came on shore. My previously existing DC powered TV, having not been used in years, needed to do a channel search before I could receive anything with it, and I found that could not be done without the remote. Luckily, I did manage to find the remote. That is one reason i really appreciate that this AXESS TV does not need the remote to perform programming or any selection function.

On a non-expert level, the Axess appears to be a well designed TV with advanced features that are lacking in my six-year-old (discontinued) Accurian mini-TV, as indicated by the many options on the remote. Scanning the channels was a breeze, and outdoors I got all the stations I wanted. Indoors with the supplied antenna I only picked up one station. After attaching the August DTA240 antenna, the TV is now very good in reception and excellent in picture quality indoors. It definitely helps to place the antenna on a metal surface, the larger the better. I have an old cake tin that can be moved around to suit the whims of the channels. The audio is strong and the included stand is very convenient. As long as you can get a clear signal from the TV transmitters to scan the channels, along with a good antenna, the affordable Axess seems to be a good bargain. Based on experience with my other battery-operated TV and current technology, I believe the Axess would have to be among the best of its type. BATTERY UPDATE: There is no indication of current battery level except for a "Low Battery" message, which appeared after about an hour and the sound became garbled. Info from Axess in California at 888-232-4145: Charge the unit for six hours before use. Turn the switch under the DC input to OFF for charging and ON for viewing. It's okay to leave the charger plugged in all the time if it's surge-protected, otherwise not.

Be WARNED! Viewing HD Channels DO NOT attune to the aspect of the TV screen. Zooming in will cut out the sides of the viewing screen. Although when viewing a movie it does not. This could be corrected with a firmware up date. Though I highly doubt they would even bother. With this day and age of electronics, this is a very bad thing. Digital channels as in sub channels 1.1 2.2 3.3 4.4 1_1 2_2 3_3 4_4 and so forth do come in. Which, if you have suddenstink errrr... I mean suddenlink you know they do not have there HD channels in Whole numbers. 29.1, 30.1, 3.1 and so forth. The review that said this does not do channel edit did not look hard enough. Channels can be blocked out so that you do not have to use Favorite channels. All other features are good. The only down side and it's a BIG down side is viewing cut out sides of the TV viewing. Edit: 4/10/2015 As of right now, the MEM Card for viewing content is UNUSABLE! For some strange reason(unknown to me) when listening or watching a video the system will kick back to the card menu. When this happens the OS kicks the mounted device. Making it unusable to select anything. The only way to make it mount the device is to unplug the mem card and restart the unit. This how ever does not fix the problem. The problem is still there and re-kicks the mounted device within seconds. I've tried different mem cards with no luck. So far the USB still works. I'm not holding my breath on it though. Considering this is a CHEAP unit!

This little tv does a great job. I have only had for roughly a week now but haven't been disappointed yet. Battery holds about a hour or so charge. Long enough for emergencies. Has a car charger and aux cord as well. The picture is decent for what it is too. The biggest issue people will have is their location. If you live in a urban and populated area like me, maybe about 15 Channels. Including local CBS, NBC ABC and FOX affiliates. Update: 2 week Later. Item turned to garbage. power chord wouldnt work and tv kept flashing on and off. i sent it back for a refund.

No es lo que promete la publicidad no trae us ni lector de tarjeta, y no es recargable, aparte me llego otra marca no la estipulada, y es difícil de sintonizar, en fin no me agrado procedo con la devolución

El tamaño es ideal para una portátil y se ve muy bien hubiera estado ideal que traiga un estuche para transportarla
