Just like the previous review....I have not been successful with other pads, but this one is perfect!It was not cheap at £60 but it does work, and if I can avoid aggravation from having to keep smoothing out my rug, then that must be worth the cost.I also want to mention that a rug will not lie flat if heavy furniture like a coffee table is on it. I have purchased here from Amazon "" spiked castors for protecting your rug "" they come in 2 sizes. The spikes go into the pile of the rug, and then you then put your furniture on its level top and it stops any indentation on your rug. The FOXI pad is for hard surface floors AND for carpet-rugs on carpet. I highly recommend this padding. All the rest are absolute rubbish

I've tried several other products, none of which were very satisfactory. Foxi really does hold the mat in place: I bought enough for one mat, success! And then re-ordered a larger one for the mat in the lounge. It hasn't moved since, in spite of many feet walking over it.Both mats are on carpet.Extremely pleased.

It works - our rug no longer moves - worth the cost - foolishly first tried a much cheaper alternative - it was useless !
