Heartache and healing
This book has made me feel so many things. It's made me feel understood, heard and seen. It broke my heart, it ripped it out, and then it build me back up again. The poems are heartbreakingly beautiful, I've never cried so much, but I couldn't put it down. Thank you to the author for putting into words what I couldn't myself. From childhood wounds, to romantic relationships gone horribly and painfully wrong, motherhood, grief and acceptance. This book took me on a rollercoaster ride, this collection of poems is truly, truly worth it.I'd like to add, if it resonates with you as much as it did with me, I'm so sorry that you had to go through the pain. I hope this book will make you feel less alone, and guides you towards healing.

Emotional Journey
Discovering this book through a chance encounter on Instagram led to an instant purchase after a compelling poem caught my eye. Within a single day, I immersed myself in its pages, finding a profound resonance that touched the depths of my soul. Amidst a challenging period in my life, this book's raw and relatable prose was an eye-opening revelation, reminding me that I'm not alone in my struggles. I've marked countless pages, ready to revisit them during difficult moments. Simply put, this book left an indelible mark on me.Reading this book was a cathartic experience, reigniting emotions I hadn't felt in some time and opening my heart to a range of feelings. It truly astonished me.While not every part of the book mirrored my experiences, I approached those sections with different perspectives, and each time, I was struck anew. The language, the emotions, the transparency—it all came together to evoke intense feelings that lingered long after I finished.I wholeheartedly recommend this book—it's both painful and healing, vulnerable yet empowering. It's a testament to the power of words and emotions expertly woven together.

When Someone Else Finds the Words for You
This book beautifully reflects the experience of childhood trauma within difficult and narcissistic parental relationships, and I found it incredibly cathartic to read.I first saw a reel about the book on Instagram, and something about it reached in and touched a part of me that I had struggled to articulate. I felt seen, and I knew I had to buy it. Reading it has become part of my continued healing journey, although there is something deeply saddening about recognising parts of your own experience within its pages. The poetry is beautifully written, and as you move through the book, there are reflections on how having children of your own can sometimes help heal parts of you that were wounded in childhood. This was something I particularly resonated with. Of course, healing is deeply nuanced and different for everyone, but I imagine many readers will recognise something of themselves in the relationship themes explored throughout this book.I would highly recommend it to anyone who has experienced similar family dynamics or is navigating their own healing journey. I’m incredibly grateful that there are authors willing to put their pain, experiences and healing onto paper, giving the rest of us words for things we sometimes cannot find the words for ourselves. Most importantly, this book reminded me that I am not alone in my journey. ❤️
