It's not that they are "small." It's more that they are tight in the instep. At first, they were so tight that my feet were tingling. But as I walked in them for a couple of days, the tingling stopped and the tightness has eased some. Maybe I'll need some stretchers, or maybe wear wet fat socks to relax the leather. They provide excellent support. Width is good, length is good--I'm a 10 1/2 W so I got an 11 W, and I need it because of the tight instep. They look good with jeans, but would be very strange-looking with even a denim skirt. So, pants only. I bought these to replace my Born clogs, which had a nice detailing across the instep--made them look like a penny loafer. Don't know why Born discontinued that--these shoes are kind of "hospital scrubs footwear." But they are solid, well-made, and give good support. Just wish there were more fashion detailing. 4 stars for lack of fashion design.

I'm a flight attendant and spend up to twelve hours a day walking up and down the aisles of airplanes. Recently I've had to admit defeat and retire my sexy heels for these less attractive but more practical shoes. They are so comfortable - like wearing my slippers at work. And the great thing is that they still give me the height of my heels (making my legs appear longer and thinner which is one of the reasons we wear heels isn't it ladies?) I tried another reputable brand that many of my flight attendant peers rave about and found myself limping once again to my hotel room after a long day. Not with these - I love them and wish I would have converted over earlier.

I ordered a size 7 (my usual size) and they were about a size too long. I returned them and ordered a size 6.5, since I was planning to wear socks with them. They are perfect for me. I can see that somebody with a high instep might have to stretch them out a bit on the collar. Very comfortable and well made. Purchaser should read the return policy from this vendor; if you returned the item without an exchange they will take $6.95 from yourrefund for shipping. I won't order from this vendor again; it's like paying to try on a shoe.

I started a new job in June 2015 and because I'm on my feet most of the day on cement floors I got plantar fasciitis on my left foot. This shoe helped me with my condition along with exercise, etc however my right foot is now starting to hurt at the base of the big toe which is the beginning of a bunion. I love the show but I have to figure how to adjust the right shoe so I don't get a bunion!

I am back in love with Born. Not sure why I quit the brand a decade or so ago...maybe styling...not sure. I coughed up the cost on the chance this might be a great clog-like shoe. It is amazing, true to fit, and so very comfy!! I am on my feet for at least 3 hours at a time for work, and these support me and my feet beautifully! Going to get another color!

Have had two foot reconstruction surgeries for arthritis. No shoe fits perfectly anymore, but have worn Born shoes for a long time that are so comfortable. I just took these to our shoemaker who can fix anything. She will just stretch them to make them a little looser on the top part of shoe. Don't let people try to tell you that the B.O.C. are Born shoes. They are not!! And don't fit near as well.

These are my go-to comfort shoes. I wear them whenever I need to be on my feet for long periods of time or when I need something comfortable that I can just slip on and go. I purchased my first pair of Toby II about three or four years ago and they still look and feel good, but were beginning to show a little wear. I considered replacing them with a different style, but decided to stick with this. The lines are simple and clean and they are perfect for me.

They fit very well. They are my comfortable shoes that I wear into the office. I change shoes during the day to heels so coming back to these at the end of the day is great. Good for my toes, arch is just right. They are pretty casual looking so I wouldn't consider them for any kind of dress up. Great shoe.
