WaterRower Heritage Rowing Machine with S4 Performance Monitor

Very happy with this purchase so far! I've had the rower for a few weeks and have gotten good use out of it already. I am new to rowing and did a good bit of research before deciding on this model. Definitely prefer the more natural side of this rower versus others like the Concept. I'm also amazed out how much of a space saver this is... I have an elliptical and a bike and I'm starting to scratch my head on whether this space saving rower could eliminate the need for those large footprint items! (one can always hope!)The workout is great, and I've found it especially good as a way to finish out a cardio workout by putting 10 minutes of rowing at the end. I'm still building up endurance as I do definitely find this gives a more full-body workout then other exercises generally do.One other note is that it is pretty quiet - I was a little worried about that since I usually exercise early in the morning but we've not had any issues with it. The sound video floating around out there on the internet makes it seem much loader than it is.

Can a piece of fitness equipment be considered sexy or a work of art?? Well if they can then this Waterrower is both of them!! First let me say I own sever pieces of higher end or commercial grade fitness equipment so I can speak about build qualify and function. The waterpower is not only a well designed and solid built machine, but it is in a word beautiful. It really is a handcrafted piece of work that should last for many years. Like all the reviews I read before I purchased, it is smooth, quiet, and gives you a great workout. I can't find any negative things to say about this machine, YES it is a little expensive but I can say now that I have it the it is well worth the cost not just in functionality but also the build quality. I put this together in about 20 minutes instructions are clear, parts easy to identify, and simple to put together. I am blown away by the waterpower, it has exceeded my expectations in every way!!

I use this rowing machine every morning, looking at the Jemez mountains west of Santa Fe, NM. It's built like a Mercedes; solid, smooth, no frills. The action of the pull-belt is like butter, and the sound of the water is soothing. I like the simplicity of the device. The wheels make it easy to roll out my door onto the back patio, and it stores upright in the bedroom, taking up very little space. And it's nice to look at. It's one of the best workouts I've ever had for incorporating multiple muscle groups. It's relaxing while pumping cardio. It's worth the price in every regard.
