Rip Curl Men's A1015-MLI "Trestles Oceansearch" Tide Watch with Black Band

Bought 2 of these watches through Amazon within 2 years and both broke at the plastic where the pin sets in. We thought first one was a fluke but then it happened again. We have bought many Rip Curl products for over 30 yrs and have never had a problem. I had written to the company to see if there was anything they could do and never received a response. Let me add that my husband loves watches and has had many different types over the years and none have been of such poor quality. He surfs and has worked construction for most of his life but has been at a desk for the past 6 years so its not like he beat the hell out of them. I'm so disappointed in Rip Curl for selling such poor quality merchandise and for their blatant lack of concern for their customers. We will never purchase another Rip Curl product nor will our sons and their families and our friends. It could have been any easy fix for them to make us happy. They've got so much competition and so many companys blow them out of the water with quality products and service. See ya Rip Curl!

The watch arrived with no display showing. Don't know if there was an old battery in it, or if the watch was defective, whatever the reason, it doesn't make for a fun Christmas present! Amazon exchanged it, no problem as always and sent a replacement ASAP. The new watch works fine so far (5 days later).

I m using the watch for only 2 month and today when I was swimming water entered inside it.What do I have to do?Could you change it for another one?Thank you.

The only reason i only gave four star is that the screen is to dull, you need to be able to make it brighter.

He loved the watch! REALLY loved the watch. Fast forward to 3/10/2016 (6 months later). The watch stopped working. Battery replacement did not turn it back on. I'm stuck with a broken $145.00 watch!

Nice watch, the problem is my watch arrived withless battery.

This watch was always difficult for my husband to read. After surfing with it on several times the face got cloudy with moisture inside it. Money down the drain:(

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. It was exactly what he was looking for! Great color too.
