Amazin' 8 Coaster ‚ STEM Building Set, Kid Construction, Creative Play Toy‚ Ages 9+

This was a Christmas gift for our 7 year old grandson that lives in another state. He loved putting it together with his dad and plays with it often!

I bought this to draw some eyes to my theme park club at a college club fair. I cut out a piece of plywood to make a solid base and ziptied the coaster to it. It definitely worked to get a lot of people to come over and listen to our spiel. The instructions were easy to follow and the setup is pretty sturdy. Definitely beats out the crappy knock-off lego model we used to have.

My son loves this set so much it is challenging to build but not to the point where it was to hard. Any child would be able to complete it with a bit of adult help!

My son is big into building sets. He really loves Legos and has a lot of sets. We thought we would give K'Nex a try. He had a lot of fun building this set and had it together properly in just a few hours. It had a few issues. It did not sit well on carpet so we had to move it to a table. It fell apart easily when we moved it. It was very difficult to get the coaster car to stay on the track. It was a bit frustrating. The parts all did work properly and the motor has added in other options. He has enjoyed taking it apart and using it to build new things. Probably would stick with Legos from now on, but it was a fun change.

Grandson said he liked it. I saw it work and it seemingly went together as described.

These are so much flimsier than when we were kids! The chain pulls on and rubs against the motor part at the top and then the chain stops. Everything is so bendy that it's impossible to engineer a way around it! Junk! Wish we had saved the box to return. Now my boy does have a fun motor to play with and some k'nex pieces to build other things.

Kept my busy kid busy for a couple days and he loved the challenge of making it!

My son was excited at first now just disappointed. It is extremely flimsy. Pieces wont stay put when putting track on tower. Had to super glue a bunch. If one area is to off its specs, the motor gets stuck. Its not really a toy for play. Its boring after the first day its finished. Put it together where you are keeping it, because it will fall to pieces when picked up. Put batteries in before assembly also. If there was a way to make the pueces secure better and have more than just one single rollar xar. It would be better. They shouldve made it able to connect to other kits

KNEX, such good products. Very pleased with this.

A little tricky for my son to assemble alone just turning 8 but this was our first K’nex. It’s pretty pretty cool ! Note there are no spare parts!

Onze zoon van net 8 kon hem zelfstandig in elkaar zetten. Heel leuk degelijk speelgoed.

The coaster was fun to build, my husband remembers K’nex being larger and harder to snap together but these were easy enough for our 6 year old. Once assembled it took some adjusting to get the motor to pull the car all the way up all while it still made a loud clicking noise as it struggled to do so but it works!
