Not accurate.
This product does not show correct temperatures. We were putting a commercial refrigerator back in use and had a technician come out to service it. The next day we pulled the fridge back off the retail floor because this thermometer was showing the temperature of the items as 15-20° higher than they should have been. We made sure to check multiple surfaces, making sure they were nonreflective as well. Called the technician back out. He checked it over and said it was good. The next day before moving it to the retail floor we checked the temperature and it was high again. Called the technician again.... Same thing happened. Decided to get a different company out as at this time we thought it was the technician not knowing what he was doing.New company came out and said the temperature is fine on the fridge, that the thermometer was not accurate.

Works well
Does what it needs to do. Aiming is not all that accurate and shiny surfaces can make your readings inaccurate. Excellent tool for this price range though.
