Duragloss 601 Bonding Agent coupled with #105 Total Performance Polish **INCREDIBLE COMBINATION**
Duragloss has some of the most innovative products for detailing that I have ever used. And they are without a doubt the MOST affordable for the quality of product that you get. Everything made by Duragloss is TOP NOTCH. Granted, they are a mass market item, not exactly on par with some of the more professional brand names out there. However, Duragloss is an EXCELLENT quality product. The first thing you have to do is wash and CLAY your vehicle. I personally use dawn dish soap and Chemical Guys citrus wash to make sure the paint is squeaky clean. I then use Nanoskin Autoscrub system and get all the bonded contaminants out of the paint. You could use any clay system as there are many on the market and most of them are very good. After claying your paint, if you can, use a product that can remove the minor swirls from your paint. I personally use my rotary polisher or Griots DA Polisher and a quality swirl remover or compound to get the paint to a flawless finish. Now do a wipe down with 50/50 distilled water and isopropyl alcohol to get any traces of polishing oils off the paint. OK, NOW YOU ARE READY! Using the 601 Polish Bonding Agent, spread the product over the entire vehicle using the directions on the bottle. LEAVE THE PRODUCT ON THE VEHICLE. Then using Total Performance Polish (Also a DURAGLOSS product) #105, spread the polish over the top of the dried bonding agent (601). Once the #105 TPP has dried to a haze, simply take a good quality microfiber polishing cloth and remove the residue of the 601/105 products from your paint to reveal an incredible shine that will last for at least 6 months! You won't be disappointed in the Duragloss 601/105 combination. It is the absolute BEST "bang for the buck" that you can get for about $18. Yes, that is what I said, $18!! Incredible! Sure, it's going to take you a fair amount of time to do this project. This is NOT something you can do in an hour. No way, not happening. This, at minimum, will take you an entire day probably if you follow the proper way to first prepare your car. It takes me a lot longer than that even. I usually spend at least an entire weekend prepping the car, polishing the paint, and then applying the bonding agent and the Total Performance Polish which is a synthetic sealant product. You will simply be amazed at the shine and the durability of the bonding agent and polish/sealant together. It's a lot of elbow grease for sure, but well worth the final effort. Once you get the paint to a pristine condition, it is a LOT easier to maintain it. Just don't use those drive through car washes that instill millions of minute scratches into your paint. Wash your car at home using the two bucket method (see internet for what that is) and you'll have a great looking vehicle.

My car sits parked most of the time, so it doesn't get washed often. I used 601 with 105 and the combo lasted less than the advertised year (not sure whether washing more would have made it last longer but I think not) but it goes on and buffs off so easily, that applying twice a year is no real concern. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a product that is as easy to apply and works as long as it does.Tip: Mix with 105 before applying to create a one step product.

All in on UltraGloss!
This product combo of UltraGloss 105 and 601 is amazing. I have been detailing cars for 15 years, about 5 as a side business, so I have used a ton of products. My previous favorite was Liquid Glass but they went out of business. Reviews seem strong on this product line so I tried it out.I stripped the previous sealant with Dawn and a clay bar. That combo works well to prep the surface. Then I applied the 601 which goes on real easy. Not sure what is in there..but seems to have some solvent properties as well as sealant properties. After that just wipe on the 105, let it haze and then wipe off. So easy. Man it looks good. We will see how longevity goes but I can tell this is good stuff. I also got the car wash and aquawax from their line.I did my car which I keep pristine so it looks great but I also did my wife's van which does not get as much love. Turned out great. Took 1.5 hours from wash to done.

Don’t buy
Worst product ever, did not loosen oils and old wax at all. And I can’t return it I bought this bc of a YouTube video, joke on me. We can all make a bottle of something that doesn’t work then sell it to a million people then your rich.

I decided to give Duragloss 601 bonding agent and 111 Clear coat polish. I washed the vehicle and clayed the roof, trunk and top edges. The bonding agent went on easily. The clear coat polish went on much like a typical wax. I completed the process with a coat of carnuba paste wax. It has been about three weeks since I completed the process. The end result was a higher quality gloss finish than you might experience with a high quality wax alone. I have since used a detailing spray to keep vehicle looking while removing light dust on the vehicle. The vehicle was outside during a t storm. When I came outside the vehicle still maintained a great shine as if it had just been waxed, no spots. After a short trip on the interstate the vehicle had insects on the front. The detailing spray and wiping easily removed the bugs. Very satisfied with the performance of the products.

Worked great as instructed on directions. Also found on website that it can be combined with TPP to save a step and yes it works flawless.

I'm a Believer.
Ordinarily I'm skeptical of products that claim to enhance the performance of other products, what a mechanic friend of mine used to call "mouse milk." I took a chance on Duragloss 601 Polish Bonding Agent only because it got recurring raves on a car detailing site I frequent. That was a year ago, so I've a little over 12 months experience with the product, and it really does work.As others have said, this should be applied as part of a deep cleaning. That is to say the paint should be cleaned and polished first to remove oxidation. I applied a coat of Duragloss 601 Bonding Agent over the entire surface of the car, and followed that with an Duragloss polymer topcoat. The 601 is supposed to serve as a lock for the polymer sealant, extending the durability of the sealant. I've seen claims of as much as a doubling. It went on easily and came off just as easily, left no residue -- and it lasted. My cars are rarely garaged, and after a year the shine is still there. The only thing I did differently was to use the 601 before my final wax. I'm back to order more, so I guess that makes me a believer.

i guess it works, I really don't know if it does or not other than what I read in the other reviews. It has a strong chemical odor
