Men's Irvine Relaxed T-Shirt

Purchased this Carhartt relaxed, fit t-shirt while I was looking for a roomier T-shirt, thicker fabric, no logos and soft Colton fabric. The T-shirt checks all the boxes, it’s been machine washed several times and no issues. The neck line is about an inch and much thicker than most relaxed, fit t-shirt. The pictures listed were taken after 10 to 12 washes, you can see the fabric has held up overtime. The material has just enough stretch, but not too much so it doesn’t bag throughout the day.

I took a chance on this Carhartt shirt on Amazon. Carhartt has a variety of materials that they use for their shirts. I prefer the Performance line of shirts for their upgraded fit and comfort. Unfortunately, this was not from that line. It is more of the traditional cotton material. It is a good quality shirt but I prefer the Performance line. I will still get good use out of this shirt but when it comes to Summer in Arizona, this one will sit in the drawer.

I love everything about this shirt. It feels incredibly comfortable on my skin, and I really like the overall fit and aesthetic. That said, I do wish the material—or perhaps the fabric blend—was slightly lighter, as it can get quite warm in the middle of summer. Otherwise, it’s perfect for fall and spring, and even for summer days that aren’t too hot. Exactly what you’d expect from a reliable and reputable brand like Carhartt!
