My very first EDC flashlight, was contemplating the SK05 Pro last year but eventually bit the bullet when this came out. I was amazed just by the sheer brightness of the 3 modes and even more impressive side LED flood. Comes in very useful for jobs in dark places such as under the kitchen sink and using the side LED flood which is very bright. It's small enough to fit in your pocket, so very portable but not too small that it feels delicate in your hands. It has a rotary wheel for the LED selection and a push button for the brightness. It also looks good too. It has replaceable batteries which are 2x 4000mAh 18650 cells which are Loop Gear branded. A magnetic base and USB charging, which can be used as a power bank to charge other devices like your phone, very nice feature and very versatile. The side LED can do different colours and different effects but to be honest I just use it as a task light in flood mode.

Outstanding torch - it just oozes quality from the materials (Mao coating), build and functionality - even the battery indicator using the sidelight makes it look very high-tech and expensive. It has a very powerful flood, spotlight and useful sidelight. I carry this when away from home because I now don't need to bring a separate power bank (fast 20w charging/discharging) and have some spare 18650 batteries that I can just quickly swap if it ever runs out. I hate clips on torches so really appreciated the fact that it ships not attached, but you can add it if you want to (screwdriver also included!). It just sits in your hand easily without feeling to big or angular - really well designed. The glow in the dark lens is also a nice touch to find it when it's pitch black. Add in the waterproof rating and I can't think of anything else I would have wanted from this.

I’ve been using the Loop Gear SK-05 for a while now and I’m genuinely impressed. The flat design is very practical — it sits well in the pocket and doesn’t roll away on site. The brightness is excellent for such a compact light, and the flood beam is perfect when working in tight spaces or dark rooms. The magnetic base is very useful for hands-free work, and the battery life is solid for daily use. Build quality feels premium and durable. Overall, a very versatile torch that’s great both for work and as an everyday carry. I’m happy with it and would definitely recommend it.

This is great torch , which is extremely well built. Fits very comfortably in the hand. Built in power bank which I never used 😀 Torch is on the heavy side. Probably heaviest pocket torch I own ( compared to its size). Very easy control compared to others and super bright. I would say is more useful if you camping, climbing or any other activity that requires light , rather than self defence/close protection services etc.

Beautiful build quality Sturdy and ergonomic to hold 22watt usb c fast charger for my other usb devices is very efficient The light modes are very versatile lighting up 100's of meters The high CRI led side light is great for walking the dogs are PC repair mechanic work as the colour reproduction is excellent The turbo mode is like having daylight. Incredible for those quick look down forest paths or dark passages Bonus tip. Turbo mode lasts around 50 seconds due to heat build up. Use it twice in quick succession and you now have a lovely hand warmer for the missus/yourself. You can get it nice and toasty in under 2 minutes. Pop it in a glove or sock and it's a lovely warmer on a cold walk. Obviously you can use it as a normal flashlight after hearing it up and now your flashlight hand stays warm The RGB modes are fun around the campfire The moonlight mode is great for searching for things at night without disturbing the missus. Simply clip to your collar and get on with looking. I absolutely love this bit of kit.

Feels solid great quality. Four stars coz just got it. If it proves to be reliable I will change it to 5 stars. Heavy in a good way coz of the big batteries. The batteries can be replaced if they wear out or I could get back ups charged and ready for long trips where charging may not be possible. The medium brightness seems good enough for most things I do. Mostly it’s looking in dark corners of venues and the back of the van and idiot checks to make sure nothing got left behind. And unfamiliar hotel rooms at night. Good to have the super bright setting for emergencies . The side light LED was a big reason for getting the pro 2. It’s bright when needed Chunky. My first non round flashlight. It’s nice to hold and won’t roll away. Feels unlikely to slip out my hand. The texture and bumpy but smooth grip is natural and comfortable . I like the white colour coz it’s easier to find at the bottom of my bag or in a draw. This is an expensive torch there is no getting away from that. But if it lasts as long as the 5 year warranty it will be worth it. Wish they did an engraving service.

What a great bit of kit!!!! (as they say....) Was initially in two minds due to cost, and not having heard of the brand name before...but I must say it's areally impressive little gadget/tool .. It's not cheap, but it is quality and small discount made the purchase more favourable for me. From the moment I held and opened the nice box it came in and saw how it was presented etc, I had the feeling 'this was going to be a quality product' - and so far nothing has suggested otherwise. This is definitely no ordinary flashlight; but has an immediate premium feel, lovely modern aesthetics and VERY powerful performance. Seems fairly intuitive to operate but will take some time to master the RGB light function as there are simply so many options. Things I really like? 🟢 - Design/Formfactor/Perfectly machined 🟢 - Feel in the hand (durable, robust, weight) 🟢 - Power/Strength/Brightness and RGB Strip Things I would have liked to see? 🔴 - Lanyard/Strap 🔴 - Protective Carry case That's all really... Still, I am yet to fully explore the flashlight fully; especially it's [many] RGB lighting functions so will update soon and maybe add some pictures or a video. Would I recommend? .....Yes ✅

Brilliant torch. The Loopgear SK05 Pro is an excellent torch and Loopgear have improved on it in every way for the Loopgear SK05 Pro 2! Brighter spot, brighter flood and a much brighter neutral white hi cri and rgb sidelight. Better charging port cover (Metal and magnetic) A glow gasket on the flood optic which is nice. Overall big improvements on an already excellent torch. It really does do everything, flood, spot, area lighting Etc.
