RLAARLO 1/12 Brushelss RC Cars, RC Buggy, 50+ MPH, 4WD, Waterproof, Blue, Ages 8+

This car is AWESOME! I've always loved RC cars, but I never had a "hobby grade" one before. The closest I had was a Red Arrow from Radio Shack. I thought it was very fast once I started using a 9.6v battery pack instead of the intended 7.2v pack. But the plastic gears kept stripping, and eventually the electronics died (probably because I was overloading it with too much power).Fast forward 25 years: I got this one, and I can't believe how fast it is right out of the box! I feel like a kid again, though this product clearly is not intended for children. If your kids are begging you to use it, please set the speed limiter to 25-50% (depending on their skill level). Even at 50%, it's faster than my beloved Red Arrow (with 9.6v pack). You really need a LOT of open space to use it at 100%. I brought it to a park and sent it flying over dirt mounds several times. It did more "somersaults" than I could count, but it held up like a champ. Eventually I ran it into a curb at almost full speed, and the only thing that broke was an upper link. The replacement part came in about 10 days. Very cheap and easy to switch out. Couldn't be happier with this RC!

I am thoroughly impressed with this little buggy! It is fast, powerful, and handles amazing! It's a tough little beast , but it does have it's weak points. After several months and a whole lot of bashing, the first thing to break was the right rear steering hub, followed by the front differential housing. Both were the result of some pretty severe abuse though, in the X12's defense. For the price I don't know if there's a better value out there than this sweet little buggy. Get one, you won't regret it!

My 7 year old son has driven this for hours today. It’s super fast and easily able to adjust the speeds. We had an issue with the controller shutting off. Not sure why, but maybe related to heat and trying to protect the car. We got it back up and running and all seems good for the first day.

Perfect economy car. It’s a lot of fun! I returned a faulty one and got a replacement rather quickly! I’m happy with the purchase and I have a lot of fun with this rc car. Even has a waterproof container for the receiver. There’s room for upgrades too! Well worth the money.

Really awesome car. Way fast, and really hard to break

This RC comes with a lot of impressive features for the price and looks cool but for some reason it doesn’t perform well on dirt tracks. It’s hard to keep it going straight, especially if you run it over 50% power. The suspension seemed nice out of the box but after a few laps the suspension wouldn’t rebound very well. It was squeaky and not fluid. I wish I would have paid extra to get a name brand buggy.

Good car, good shocks, drives straight. More durable than WLtoys.
