We have had tons of fun with these and my almost 10 year old cannot stop challenging us to a fight. In the house and outside at night is really lots of fun. They are great and do not hurt at all. I do think they could be cheaper now that I have them, the plastic covering rips off and we ended up with just the white foam glow stick. Still having lots of fun but it would be great if they added more swords to the pack for the money.

Bought these as birthday present for our 7 year old. They are 4 tiny foam noodles. and 4 tiny lights that dont match the pictures in the ad. you have to make up your own game. the swords dont know when they are hit. One sword would randomly turn off whenever it was hit. So you had to "Improvise" again, and try to remedy the situation. Very cheaply made. Disappointed. Used once, and been in the box since. 9/5/21 UPDATE! The customer service is outstanding. They responded to my review and wanted to make it right! They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and that the product was working as advertised. Mary, their rep, reached out to ensure that replacements were delivered and even sent a new product to try to ensure that we were happy customers. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for someone who stands behind their product. 5 STARS! (I am not paid by this company and not asked to write a review or update).

Fun concept, but the constuction is not sturdy. After 2 10 year olds playing with it for 10 minutes, the plastic covering that gives design to the foam glow sticks split and came off and one the plastic bases with the batteries came off of the glow stick and it no longer turned on even if we could get it to stay in the foam glow stick.

The swords are fun, but the plastic wrap design on them started falling apart on the 1st use. After it comes off the swords are still functional to fight with so you can keep playing. The smaller light up pieces turn on and off by screwing and unscrewing them. This makes it really easy to accidentally open it up and have batteries falling out on the ground. Ok (at best) if you only have older kids, but I do not and now I'm worried that my 6 year old isn't going to pay attention and my 1.5 year old is going to swallow a battery. BTW, my 1.5 year old also loves sword battles so much!. If he were slightly younger he would be chewing on the foam sword too, thankfully he has passed that phase. So, lots of fun for ages 1,6,9, and adults in our house - but it is a lot of money to buy light up foam tubes as the rest is useless to us. I was hoping to buy more and have this be a big thing at the 10th birthday party this summer but I don't want to spend that kind of money for the poor quality.

I took this on a family trip this summer and whipped it out when things were starting to get a little dull. My kids, nieces and nephews loved it! We actually had to put it away earlier than planned because they were having so much fun! Things I love: I love that these are soft light sabers. It does not hurt at all to get hurt by them, even when things get a little rough! The lights are bright! We weren't playing in total darkness, so the fact that these are very bright helped a lot! It made it more possible for my little kids to play without getting hurt. I also love the game variations. I jumped in on a new game and was able to have fun by applying stricter rules for myself. Easy to store! It's not too big to store in our game closet! Things that could use improvement: While the bracelets are awesome and bright, sometimes the kids got too enthusiastic and pulled the wrong end out while trying to remove it. The wrong end goes right back into the slot, so it's really not a huge problem, but that's something that would improve it! Overall, Super fun game with lots of variations! I played it with kids that were 2-11! We all had fun!

The first thing that I love about this game is that it came with all the required batteries so I wasn't having to dig around to get my kids started!! This is a fun game that is sort of like tag but with foam Glow Katanas. These are foam sticks that you hit each other with that don't hurt at all. You run around and try to tag the other team with your Katana without getting hit. If you get hit you have to go back to your home base and change your Katana to flashing mode. If you get hit again while your Katana is flashing then you are completely out. This game provided some fun activity for my kids and kept them and their friends entertained and running around for a while! Anything that gets them up and off the couch during the summer makes me happy. Glow Battle is absolutely something that we will revisit and continue to play!

The fun started out all well and good until one of the kids turned the sword around and was hitting others with the tip that holds the battery. A black eye was the result.

My kids had so much fun playing with these definitely recommend to let the kids get out their frustration lol

Our whole family loves this product. Hours of fun to be had. Would definitely recommend as a unique gift. You can buy add ins and similar products.

I cannot believe I paid almost $60 on this box of junk. I’m flabbergasted this toy is being sold for $60, I could’ve taken foam myself and put glow sticks in it, to get close enough to the same effect. They are so cheaply made and the platic wrap was ripped off of half of them (literally 2 were damaged and only 4 comes in the pack) also 2/4 of them didn’t even work after replacing the batteries. Upon opening the box there was immediate complete disappointment once I got a visual of them and seen the ripped cheap plastic over the foam sleeves, then had to take a trip to the store thinking the swords weren’t working due to the batteries, spent money to replace the batteries and the 30 min trip to the store there and back, fiddling with them for about 15 minutes to replace the batteries all for them to not work. What a joke! And I will NOT be reordering (oh yes they have the nerve to want this garbage ,cheaply made, expensive 4 cylinder pack of junk and 4 dollar store pieces of senseless small no bigger then a small pencil sharpener pointless little lights that glow to be returned to them for a refund), don’t worry I’ll be at Canada Post as SOON as they open ! Save your money & save yourself & children from let down. Hypothetically even if all the pieces worked, the product is such garbage it would be broke in seconds!

Definitely good idea and fun, but very poorly made and cheap. I expected much better for the price. Some batteries didn't work right out the box, and the black design on the plastic fades and becomes sticky within minutes of using it. Otherwise, fun idea but it's not worth more than 20$.
