This cookware was made for microwaves!
This is the last microwave gadget that you will ever buy...Guaranteed! I don't know on what the New Zealanders are doing did but they made an Optimum microwave cooker when they made this cooker by Sistema! These microwave cookware is Made in New Zeland and this is a premium brand of cooker. I have been using this since I bought it non stop yet it ne er melted in the microwave after so many uses from soups to stews even everything made with tomatoes yet it haven't stained nor warped this cookware. I'm so glad that I bought this for it's always a made dash to get out and going places so there's really no time to seat down slouch and eat your food for this household is a busy bunch and always on the rub hence why a microwave is a must in our family and it's the most used appliance in our house and we bought a couple of these Sistema microwave cookers for each member of our family complete with their own names on it and they're solely responsible of taking care of their cookware. So far everyone is happy and eats their meals at their leisure using these containers. As the photos I've included, you can visibly see my hand size as a comparison to the food container and how big it is so you'll get an idea. A very highly recommended item if you like non warping cookware made for your microwave.

Everything in one bowl!!
I bought this bowl as an item to take with me for my new travel job. I wanted something that was durable and versatile and this is it! I use this every day sometimes twice a day. I make ramen both from hot water and in the microwave. I warm up various leftovers and sometimes cook eggs. The only thing I haven’t tried is oatmeal. The small downside to this bowl is it’s bulky, but the lid has never failed me, so I don’t let that stop me. I came to leave this review specifically, beciase I am legit pleased with my bowl!!

Easy oatmeal
I love oatmeal for breakfast and have tried different bowls in the microwave oven but this is far and away the best . I love the steam vent. It cleans up very easily and there's no need for extra bowls as you can eat right out of it. It's cool to the touch. Incidentally I read a tip on Bob's Red Mill that all you need to do to avoid the oatmeal from "exploding"us to put a bit of fat on top which will hold down the bubbles. I spray the top of your oatmeal with spray on coconut oil before putting the oatmeal in the microwave and never have a mess Also use it to make baked Alaska. Delicious!

This is nearly perfect
My only quibble is that the lip of the ball is up not flush with the rest of the bowl and that’s because there’s a lid that you can pop over it and then snap down onto the bowl. I sometimes like to drink my super at least the last few bites of it and I can’t do that with this bowl because it dribbles around where that lip is. That’s a small complaint but I really like everything else about it and when I microwave some soup The ball stays cool on the outside sometimes you can feel a little warmth but doesn’t burn your hands if you have to carry it somewhere. I don’t know but the lid is exactly airtight because one time I tipped the ball a little bit for whatever reason and some soup dripped out of it and that was with the lid on. Maybe I didn’t have the lid on tight Knouff I don’t know but that’s just something to watch for. Otherwise I use this almost every day I’d like to take soup with me to the office and I put it in The fridge and then microwave it for lunch.

Convenient & Cool to the Touch
My third try at finding a microwaveable bowl for my oatmeal, and this one works great. The other two were glass--needed oven mitts to take out the bowl--and their rubber seals fell out from under the lids over time. The Sistema is plastic and is cool to the touch right out of the microwave. And the seal is staying put (not sure whether that is because this time I am not dishwashing it, unlike the others, or because it is better made.) I recall having read a few reviews about oatmeal boiling over with this product. It does for me, too, if I microwave my oatmeal for three minutes on high. So I heat for two minutes...wait a couple of minutes...and microwave for another minute...and no muss, no fuss. To me, complaining about its boiling over makes no sense, in that if you heat water in a pot for too long over a burner on your stove it will boil over too. Why would you complain about the pot or return it? Things boil over if there is enough liquid, enough heat, and enough time. Don't see that as the product's fault; get upset at physics, if anything :-) By the way, as an aside about oatmeal, if you aren't eating Bob's Red Mill Thick Rolled Oats, you truly are missing out. This is not a planted endorsement, this is just a fan talking!

Microwave whole oats in 2 minutes no mess
Sure, you can microwave oats in 2 minutes in an open bowl, or loosely covered bowl, if you don't mind cleaning a gluey mess. This bowl allows you to make a quick and healthy breakfast with no mess. It is wonderfully designed to vent just the right amount to cook the oats but not bubble over. Love it. As far as easy clean up, this is it. the smooth plastic will get gummed up with oat glue, but a brief soak with hot water and it washes right off. Considering I used to batch cook oats in a pot and pack them for the work week, this is such an awesomely easy option I'm never going back to 1800s style oatmeal.

Decent product with questionable durability
Bought this for heating up soup at work, its a decent product for the job, but after my first use its already breaking down. Pros 1) Holds a standard can of soup perfectly 2) Using handle prevents getting burned when taking it out of the microwave 3) Heats well with lit Cons) 1) After my first use the clear lid already has etching where the soup melted it. This left the white marking on the lid. 2) Washed it in the dishwasher on normal heat and the lid is slightly warped. I have to force it a bit to fit the bowl. Doesn't effect use at this point, but concerning that after one wash its already starting to warp. 3) The stickers are super sticky. Without using something like goo-gone you will not get the adhesive off. It even stayed through a hand wash and a dish washer wash. 4) Price is high based on the durability im seeing after only the first use.

Doesn't burn your fingers!
I love this little bowl. It replaces a glass bowl I used to use...I had to wrap plastic on the top of it to stop it from splashing the inside of the microwave. This bowl with its pressure release system prevents splashing...when you unlatch it to give it a stir it doesn't burn your fingers even if the contents are already pretty hot. All the microwave energy seems to concentrate on the contents of your bowl rather than the bowl itself so it's it's easy to take out, give it a stir and put it back for more heating without using pot holders. It was a bit expensive for a piece of plastic but I use it all the time now and seems durable and easy to clean...I'd recommend it to my friends and family :)

Bigger then expected.
Works well, make porrige in it and other things that needs heating at night for snacks. No issue and it's tad bigger then expected to be honest.
