I'm so sorry to tell that It just can use with the attached set because the built-in algorithm and camera can only recognize the unique micro-dot pattern on the companion smart notebook and LCD pad.

Can I access my notes saved from SyncPen 3.0 by ipad?

Certainly! As long as your device has installed the NEWYES app and connected, you get access to view or edit your notes saved in SyncPen at anytime.

Can the refill be replaced? How to replace it?

Yes, and the set includes 3 ink refills and 3 plastic refills for replacement. You can remove and replace the plastic one by hand directly. For ink refills, SyncPen set comes with a small clip to facilitate removing and keep hand from getting stained

Can I rest my palm on the LCD pad? Will that trigger the smart bar at the bottom or leave marks in the note-taking?

Yes, feel free to place your hand. The LCD writing pad is not a touchscreen, so the Smart Bar won't be triggered by your hand (same for the Smart Notebook), but only by the SyncPen. Also, only the content written by SyncPen 3 will be synced & saved.

This is a WONDERFUL system and works great with my iPhone 14 Pro. I have not tried it with my iPhone 17 PRO MAX yet but, I’m assuming it will be a similar outcome. I’ve been using it with my old iPhone, to save space on my new phone, despite having 2TB available. The colors available for saving in digital format are great for making important details stand out, while note taking and planning. It’s easy to connect and the pen writes smooth. I can erase each page to use again or leave the notes there for a live copy. The planner is well-made, durable and aesthetically appealing. I am COMPLETELY happy with this one and, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you give this one a try.
