Reliable Android Auto connection
Excellent, we were both having problems connecting to Android auto on both cars we have. Fitted these and connects every time.

Fixed the connection issues with Android Auto.
I bought this as a last gasp attempt to fox the connection issues I was having with my Google Pixel and my Volkswagen (a well known issue apparently). This brand of this connector was recommended online and while sceptical I thought to was worth a try. One first trying it I found that it simply worked and has been flawless ever since, approx 4 months now.

Does work for Pixel 6 / Ford
Purchased this to try to get android auto working from pixel 6 to ford sync 3. Have tried all other methods and this was last chance. Still crashed after about 1 mile

Android Auto + Pixel 6
As others have said, this adapter in conjunction with the official Google USB C cable has 100% solved the frequent disconnections I was experiencing with Android Auto in my Seat Arona. I'm kind of shocked as I have tried other USB A to C adapters which didn't make any difference, so I'm not sure what secret sauce this adapter has but it worked so I'm over the moon and no longer tearing my hair out :-D
