Great leverless for the money!
I bought this to upgrade a homemade leverless I was using. The main problem with the homemade one was that the buttons had a lot of action, so my hands hurt after prolonged use. Thankfully, the buttons on this one are high quality, lower action, and relatively sensitive. They're not quite as sensitive as sanwa buttons, which I find too sensitive, however. The extra buttons are great for Street Fighter 6, which is what I primarily use this for. My one complaint, is that in the original configuration, one of the button caps kept getting stuck, however, it was easy to open the leverless up and switching the position of that button cap with another fixed the problem. It's possible that button cap was mistakenly put in the wrong place as it hasn't jammed at all since, though I'm not sure that position should matter since all buttons should be the same size. Definitely not a bad purchase compared to the much more expensive junk food controllers, though those are smaller and have buttons with even lower--virtually flat--action.

Great Product
I've been playing fighting games for well over twenty years and was always on the fence when it came to leverless arcade controllers. I decided to pull the trigger and was absolutely satisfied by this product. If you ever played on a PC keyboard before, it's essentially the same thing except with bigger buttons. I always had problems with dash cancelling in Street Fighter or instant while running moves in Tekken using a joystick. This eliminates the problem for me entirely as I know I pushed the direction button twice for a dash or I pressed the direction twice then held it down the third for a while running. If you too had problems like this, you should consider giving this product a try. But before that, I strongly suggest using a PC keyboard first and seeing how you like the input. Map the directions for left, down and right to ASD and up to SPACEBAR. Punches and Kicks to other keys of your choosing. If it feels comfortable and/or accurate enough then this product is right up your alley. Been fun to use with games like Street Fighter VI and Tekken 8. And if using your thumb to jump or go up isn't your forte, the controller comes with extra buttons that can be used as well. Easy to mod as well if that's your thing. 10/10

Haute42 T16 leverless controller
I just wanted to say that I'm new to leverless controller and wanted to try one out for fighting games while on a budget. This item had I believe something like 15-20% discount which seemed like a bargain to me. Controller came and my initial thoughts were maybe my hands are not as big for it and the s16 or m16 version would be better... but I kept trying it on training mode for a few days before I actually went online for rank/casuals play. There is a learning curve and I'm still on that curve but compared to my thoughts the first day I got it...(regret etc) now is a day and night difference after about 1 week of daily use. In fact I went back to the PS4 controller and I gotta say I'm perhaps at the same level as the controller already if not even higher... so there goes that for leverless. Built quality seems sturdy I like the buttons how they feel and everything so far I'm more than satisfied with my purchase. Durability, time will tell. I am taking good care of it and keep it safe and in an rugged plastic envelope when not in use. For lap use is perfect size which is what I needed that's why I went with the T16 version and not the smaller 16's. So keep that in mind if you are on the verge, this particular controller seems more for bigger hands as the buttons seemed to be spread out more than the smaller size verions... but I'm confortable with it. There goes my review and opinion which I almost never do, but took me a good number of days undecided with which to go and $$$ etc, I say you cant go wrong with this and at this price point is cheaper than building your own even if is on a cardboard box. Really Good when it works!!!
So I have been using this product for about 2-3 months and initially I was really impressed by it. The overall feel of it is really nice. The buttons feel nice. It was comfortable in my lap and and the rgb lights under the buttons add a nice touch. Then over time I started to notice its flaws and the real reason why its such an afforadable fightstick even though it has all of the features of a fightstick that is 3x the price of this one. #1) Whenever I played in my lap, the fightstick would start to creek (Very similar to the sound of plexiglass when you try to flex it). Im not sure if this would cause an issue down the line, but it definitely sounds like it. #2) The usb port is very weak and flimsy. Usually, when Im done playing, I lay my sticks flat on the ground near my desktop, and few times I have layed the stick down with the usb still attached and this may have caused the usb port to become a little loose. But to be honest, I take really good care of my things and I have never been careless with this stick. I honestly just think the stick is poorly made and therefore it cant withstand even minor mishandlings. #3) Disconnecting in the middle of matches. Im not sure if this has anything to do with the weak usb port or not, but this stick randomly disconnects quite often. If this were something that rarely happens, I wouldnt even care but today this stick disconnected in 3 consecutive matches. It connects to my pc just fine. I never have a problem until I get in matches and the thing just disconnects at random points in time. These are some of the negatives that I have about this stick over the short time that Ive had it. The pros are abundant, but Im afraid the cons are a big deal. I really dont think this stick can hold up as someones main stick, but if you are someone that has 2-4 options and want to pull this out every now and then, I think it would be a good stick to have. It would also be good for those who want to try leverless sticks without breaking the bank. I actually bought my Victrix Pro Leverless pad back in June when SF6 was released and although the Victrix costs 400$, I thought this Haute t16 felt alot better out of the box. The Victrix does come with 24mm command buttons and 30mm directional, while the Haute T16 comes with all 30mm buttons. That was a noticeable difference that I really liked about the T16. If I could go back in time, I wouldnt buy the plexiglass model of this stick, I would go with the hard plastic or something that can hold up better over time because I really doubt this stick can survive more than a year as someones main stick without having issues. I will give my overall cons and pros... Pros.... Very Affordable, All 30mm buttons, Very nice looking stick especially at night, Very easy to setup regardless of platform, Beginner friendly, 4 extra buttons that can be repurposed, Buttons feels really really nice, alot of customization options Cons...Very cheaply made, the stick creeks when playing in your lap, the usb port is very fragile, and you may run into connectivity issues in the middle of using it. The stick overall is very fragile.

Affordable Lever-less Controller
Works perfectly and the size is perfect as well. I was able to use it for steam link on iOS, and play games like 2XKO and injustice 2 on my pc. It’s super light and easily customizable with your own backgrounds n stuff. The extra buttons are super nice as extra trigger locations for 2XKO

Lovely controller
Works as intended. Easy to update/set up. Nice to the touch. 4 stars because the USB cable was dented, I had to get another one.

Veteran Street Fighter : Top

Insane Value - My FAVORITE Leverless Hands Down
If you are on the fence whether to buy this - get it! I had the smaller version of this and I decided to upgrade to this bigger version and I am so glad I did. The size is amazing it fits comfortably on the desk or on your lap! The buttons feel just right and it can handle a soft press or an aggressive slam when you're doing combos in your fighting game of choice! It has the GP2040 - You can customize A LOT. The RGB can be customized and changed per button. It has a turbo mode for multiple-inputs, it has many SOD-C modes - remappable buttons and layouts - and with the GP2040 web configurator (which is super simple to set up) you can create custom profiles to swap to as well! It has a USB-C input but only at the top unlike it's little brother which has one at the top and the left side. My primary fighting game of choice is Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6 & Dragon Ball Fighterz and they all work incredibly without issue at all! For Tekken 8 I've remapped one of the buttons so it's easier for me to perform EWGF and it's a lifesaver and boosts my Michima ego! For SF6 the extra buttons help me hit drive inpact and drive rush so much easier and faster. If you are playing on PC honestly this is one of the best leverless controller out there and I've used a lot of them from the kitsune to the hitbox you name it and by far with the customization and the extra buttons this is certainly my favorite without contest The few downsides are as followed: - The USB-C cable it comes with very mediocre but since it is a USB-C connection you can use one of your own. - There is no OUT OF THE BOX PS5 compatibility - now it IS possible for this to work with a PS5 but it will take some tinkering in the GP2040 Web Configurator or an adapter which you can buy. Overall this has become my go-to controller and truly my favorite way to play fighting games!
