VASQUE CONTENDER HIKING BOOTS MENS V-645 (12, VELVET)

It's been years since I have been able to find a pair of Vasque boots that are 8" tall. These fit a bit tight around the top of the leg collar but I expect them to loosen up with time. They are "really" red-brown in color, but a Snow Seal treatment darkened the leather a lot - much more to my liking. I do wish they had hooks at the top instead of lace eyelets.
