Durable little bookshelf made of good material overall. I think it was a good value. The only problem I had was the cardboard backing is a kind of flimsy and it’s hard to get the little nails in place to hold it on there. Otherwise it was easy to put together. Seems to hold a decent amount of weight. It looks great!

This was exactly what I needed. Just some extra book shelves to line my hallway. I bought two of these. They were on sale on Amazon for $35.99. I didn't want to spend a lot and this was just about right. For the price, it's very good quality and looks nice. They're easy to put together. The instructions are very clear. It lists a few tools you need, but it comes with an allen wrench and a screwdriver and that's really all you need. You can push the footpads in with your thumb, but a hammer might actually be handy for that. It showed a drill as well, but I didn't have any need for that. I put each together, casually, in about 20 to 30 minutes, taking my time. It's a very simple design. The inner shelves (2 of them) can be moved up or down a bit using the pegs to vary the shelf height. On mine, I have the lower area at the maximum shelf height and could just barely fit a standard college textbook in. I'm very happy with these. I've included an image of two of them, side by side.

I bought this shelf to complement my space, and it exceeded my expectations. Nice looking sturdy bookcase. It seems to hold all the books we want to display. It was fairly easy to put together however, the backing could be better. It seems a little smaller than the bookcase itself. The back panels do not cover the back completely. I still recommend this bookcase.

Nice looking and easy to assemble.

Like many people, I have assembled many DIY pieces of furniture in my days, including some from well-known Nordic brands and red circle and blue store brands. This is probably one of the highest quality DIY bookshelves I have encountered. The panels and shelves are thick and solid. I did not test it, but their claim for the load capacity is believable. They also include all the tools needed, including a full-size screwdriver! Some features, like the back panel secured in a channel with the holders, are a much better design than the short dress nails often used to secure the panel in other DIY bookshelves. Overall, I can see some thoughtfulness and quality in design and manufacturing. All holes align, all hardware pieces are the correct size, and come with one extra of each type in case one is lost or breaks for some reason. Certainly, this isn't as good as most pre-assembled bookshelves from furniture stores. If you're willing to spend 2-4 times more on an equivalent plain function-based bookshelf, they often have a solid one-piece back panel and stronger joints with nails, screws, and adhesives, or, for higher quality (and price), actual wood joints. However, for the price, this offers great value for a bookshelf with quality. A pro tip: If you have a decent tool set, get the T-15 bit because it makes the construction process much easier. It works way better than the included tool.

It literally has collapsed when I leaned on it. I’ve had it almost a year and it has been in good shape but I leaned on it to grab something and, just now, it collapsed on top of me. Hurt my knee pretty bad. I really liked it too but the structure of it is not secure enough for a good bookshelf and is dangerous if you have small children that will lean or hang off of it.

I have not put this together yet, but the first thing I noticed in the assembly instructions is the need for a power drill! It clearly stated on the listing that all needed tools were included. So far, not good. I will see how this goes and give an update soon. I have put it together now and the drill is used for the anchor. You do need a hammer to pound on the little feet. Hammer not provided. The rest of the assembly went quick enough. I do like the bookcase, so I am upping the rating.

I have bought quite a few pieces from this company and am impressed with the ease of assemble and quality of all. This bookcase has a hard back! Not like those ones you buy that have that paper cardboard back, but a hard woodgrained look back! I will be buying more of these. They perfectly match my other pieces. It was enforced with dowel pegs. I can't say enough about this company. I am impressed. Love this bookcase. Will buy again.
