I bought this battery to replace my original badly-swollen battery in a 5-year old MSI GS60-2PE Ghost Pro 3k. I've had this battery for a week now and it is working well; it holds a charge and I checked inside the computer a moment ago and verified that it isn't swelling or otherwise threatening to catch on fire like some of the other dodgy aftermarket batteries you can find. Shipping was very fast, I ordered on a Saturday evening and had it in hand Monday afternoon. The battery was well-packed which is a huge deal for unsupported lithium pouch cells like this one.This battery does not include double-sided tape so if you intend to mount it in a GS60 you'll need to have some. You want the thin stuff from the craft store, not the double-sided foam tape from the hardware store. Surface preparation is important for a long-lasting tape joint so be sure to clean the battery and laptop surfaces where you're applying tape with isopropyl alcohol to remove any oils or other contaminants. Be careful not to flex the pouch during installation or it will end poorly for you; these batteries get all of their mechanical strength from the stiff chassis of your laptop or tablet. Without mechanical support, these things are about as strong as a Pop Tart or Graham Cracker.

Product came in great condition. I installed it into a MSI laptop that had the same battery specs. Installation went smooth, and I charged it to 100%. When discharging, the laptop suddenly shut off at around 54%. Now every time I launch a game or anything demanding in any way, it instantly shuts off when not plugged in. Will fully discharge and recharge. If it continues to fail, I’ll proceed with a refund :( random shut offs when opening anything besides sitting at the desktop is… quite horrible.Update: Proceeding with refund :( Laptop consistently randomly shuts off when not plugged in. Battery just can't keep the laptop running.

My MSI GS60 still has some life left in it but the original battery died years ago. It swelled up and warped the aluminum case so I just removed it and ran it without a battery for awhile. While that did work fine, I wanted to be able to move it around without shutting down each time. This battery fit just fine and no issues with it since installing it around 10 months ago.

My MSI GS60 2PC Ghost of around 4 years finally needed a new battery, the old one was noticeably short-lasting and after a few calibrations it eventually stopped holding a charge. Upon inspection it had clearly expanded and needed to be replaced. The first Amanda BTY-M6F battery I received had an issue, my laptop displayed a blinking orange charge light indicating a problem, showed 0% when on, and would just shut down when attempting to calibrate the battery using MSI's built-in software. I followed a number of other troubleshooting methods until concluding it was likely the battery itself. Luckily the replacement arrived within literally 2 days and the new one has been going strong! I really hope it lasts. Although you can find this battery type elsewhere, they tend to be delivered from China which takes a while, so Amazon's shipping was the quickest option for me.

I love that it was cheap and works great. I went form have no battery life to the basic 3-4 hour battery just like how my computer was when I bought it. This was exactly what I needed.

This battery fit perfectly just like the OEM. I followed the instructions that came with the battery and so far no issues. You can go about 3 hours on a single charge. This is normal and expected for this laptop.
