ATN Shot Trak HD Action Gun Camera

The media could not be loaded.  I have had the ATN Shot Trak Cam installed on my AR-15, set up in a 300-Blackout upper for a few months and I love it. I wanted it for hunting coyotes and the 5X zoom is exactly what I needed! I have actually learned a lot from going back and watching the videos. I added a video clip of me shooting a steel target of a chicken at 212 yards from a bench. You can see everything your shooting at with this camera, I really love it. I have shoot approximately 75 rounds through my gun with this camera installed and have seen no issues. I have it installed on the bottom of my quad rail, it seems to do great there. If you are wanting a good hunting cam that will actually film what your shooting...get this camera. I recommend it and would buy it again. (UPDATE): I went back and watched the video I put up to see how it looks. Unfortunately, somewhere in the process, the video got compressed and doesn't look nearly as good as the raw footage. I'll try to put in on youtube so you can actually see the clarity. Once again, I love this camera

so far worked as it says! Sound Does work!I downloaded SanDisk reader to my android phone stick the micro sd card in your phone and it works great!

Video quality is excellent. Mounting instructions are poor. I ended up using black electrical tape and it works fine. I had a hard time figuring out how to get it to play back with sound, but I'm not very tech-savvy, so other people might not have a problem. I want to mount the camera to a hat so I don't have to point the shotgun at everything I want to film. Overall, very happy with it.

I am a paintball player and have looked high and low for a camera that could capture the action in a way that you could actually see what is going on , tried the GoPro and while it is a very nice camera for wide angles it is very hard to see what you are shooting at while playing in the woods , the Shot Trak works like a dream , the 5x zoom shows clearly every shot hitting your opponents , the audio is so good you can hear the ball popping plus whatever you say , the toggle switch is so simple to operate even while wearing gloves ,video is crisp and clear ( I use VLC player and had no problems at all ) mounting was a breeze with a simple shotgun adapter on the round barrel of my gun , time will tell how durable it is since it was not designed for paintball , all the running around and shaking plus the direct hits is sure to take will take a toll and I will update this review when and if it fails .UPDATE :Been using this camera for a while now , recorded several hours of footage without any problems , my main concern was durability since it is subject to vibration while running and has taken several direct hits but no damage so far ,battery life is not the greatest ( replacing battery every two days of play , recording about two hours each day ) but not a big concern .

it is hard to find the right mount to use this with a bow. i thought i understood it had sound on it but cant hear anything on it. it needs to come with a charger for the battery. other than that the pitcher is good.

very hard to adjust

Best little on-gun camera I've bought so far. I got the one without the laser and the one with the laser when it first came out. The laser is good for short range or indoors, but pretty much a novelty outdoors, in my opinion and experience. I've shot a lot of videos with this unit already this year, and they came out very well. The audio is almost too good on my unit. This microphone picks up almost every single creak and groan and breath and movement within a wide radius. On several of my videos, it picked up deer walking thru leaves 20 yards away. I really like how the operator just flips one lever, and then the red light comes on to let them know the unit is recording. The mini SD card is a little tricky getting in and out, but what did you expect on a compact unit of this nature? I use a wooden toothpick and gently push the card in to release the catch taking it out and put it in by hand as far as I can, and then I click the card into place with theh toothpick. Battery life has been good so far, even in cold weather. I love the fact that the recording magnification is fixed. No more fumbling around with a zoom trying to get just the perfect magnification. It is what it is, so just make sure it's recording (and don't forget to take the lens cap off like I did one time) and point and shoot. It takes videos of deer-sized animals at 50 yards and under very well, and I also shot a nice buck this year with my muzzleloader at 116 yards, and it wasn't bad video at all. Operator error is drastically reduced. Also, if you have it indoors and take it outdoors, makes sure to wipe the lens with an scope lens cloth or similar if it fogs up on the outside of the lens. Had that happen as well. Again, operator error. My unit has held up to 12ga 3" slug recoil from a bolt action shotgun, my 50cal muzzleloader, and a 175lb crossbow, and 70lb compound bow so far with no problems. I paid about $88 on here, and $15 for the memory card (not included). If you have a weapon that has a rail and you want to video, this is the one to get. I imagine it would work great for paintball as well. Buy it.

Absolutely awesome camera that blends in with the rest of your weapon. I use this camera for Airsofting, and it works better than any other action camera could. It's amazing how small it is for such a high definition camera as well. And, for that price, it feels like it's a steal. The microphone in it beats my GoPro's audio in terms of clarity, atleast from what I heard. Mounting was made easy by the directions. It's really just a no-nonsense camera, which I appreciate. Lastly, I ordered the one without the laser just because I didn't really need one, but they sent me the one with the laser anyways... 非常に軽くて、防水、耐衝撃性能も実銃対応。しかし私の所に配送されたのはレーザーポインターがついた上位商品。レーザーサイトはかろうじて左右は調整できるが、上下はほとんど稼働しません。ま、おまけ的な機能なので、私には不要な機能ですが。。。あとレイルに挟むところは確実に堅固に固定できますが、そこから本体へのマウント部が耐衝撃性能のためか緩いので、どうしても左右に多少は動いてしまいます。※手ぶれ補正無いです※←重要！ハンドガンに取り付けると、手ぶれがはげしくて、大画面で見るに堪えません。スナイパーライフルなどにバイポッドをとりつけて、じっくり構えて狙った動画を撮るなどするのには最適だと思われます。アサルト系やＳＭＧ、ハンドガンなどにとりつけてガシガシ攻め込むなら、動画的にはつらいモノがあります。

購入して予定よりも早く着きました!サバゲーで初投入してみたところ、しっかりと撮れていました。後、『ゴム栓を外せば音声が』とレビューを残されていますが、QuickTimeで再生したところちゃんと録音されていました。ゴム栓を付けていても十分に録音されています。WindowsプレイヤーやDivxでは音声はありませんでした。英語マニュアルだけとバッテリー残量把握が出来ない、バッテリーが特殊な所が痛いですね。その他は十分に満足です、良い品です♪
