No issues, easy sale, good price point

I use this on top of my bird cage for warmth, I have 2 parrotlets in our front room that can drop into the low 60's at night, tropical birds generally don't tolerate temps below 70's very well. I decided to add some warmth to their cage this winter. This is much cheaper than trying to warm an entire room with a heater! I placed the lamp on top of the cage , it is about 8 inches above a swing for them. The heat it radiates is really nice, it does get hot and I recommend not touching anything outside the metal handle. If this was inside the cage it would be too hot for the touch for your animals. You would need to place it out of the touch of any animal or child as the outside of the lamp is super hot. Outside of the possible burn factor it is a reliable and nice lamp for heat or light. I highly recommend

I like the look of this light fixture. It is small sized lightweight and looks nice. I could see it getting hot depending on what light bulbs you use, however since it is meant for heat bulbs and the sort I would expect it would hold up to that. I have a 5w reptile bulb that does not get hot so I can attest to that. Durability is ok. I did drop the fixture and put a dent in the side however it hit the hard corner of the headboard so...not really a manufacturer flaw...oops. I actually like it so well I bought a 2nd one.

Very simple to use and puts of the right amount of heat needed for our Ball Python to have a nice warm basking spot.

Works! Gets hot really fast. Be careful because it will burn fast. My reptile loves it!
