Canon PIXMA TR160 Color Wireless Portable Printer

I bought this printer because I needed something compact and easy to take with me, and it has exceeded my expectations. It’s lightweight, doesn’t take up much space, and the wireless setup was quick and straightforward. The print quality is sharp for both documents and color pages, and the 50-sheet paper tray is very convenient for a portable printer. The display makes it easy to check settings and monitor the printer without any hassle. Overall, this is an excellent portable printer for working from home, traveling, or printing on the go. It’s reliable, easy to use, and delivers great print quality. I would definitely recommend it.

The feature that I like the best about this particular portable printer is the fact you can buy a battery pack for it and use it remotely without having it plugged into the wall. The battery can be charged by plugging the unit into the wall directly but it can be operated without a power cord as long as you have the battery. Colors work pretty good black cartridge works really good and they're cheap enough to buy and you can replace them pretty quickly and easily. Print quality is nice doesn't excellent job and doesn't use a tremendous amount of Ink on each print job but still looks good. There are carrying cases that allow you to carry it around and they don't take up a lot of space. It's easy to store needs to carry although it is a bit weighty but not as heavy as a large size printer would be. Wireless connectivity is easy to set up both on the front panel and with software. When I set mine up I use the front panel to set up the wireless and it connected pretty quickly to my mobile router. All in all this is the printer I would recommend if you need something portable and small enough to be able to carry around with you on an everyday use. I could see this being used by business people as well as people living in RVs like I do as easy to travel with and can easily be used to print out stuff on the go or were spaces at a premium.

LOVE this printer. It was exactly what I needed. The images printed are so crisp and clear and the color is beautiful.. It actually prints better than my big Brother printer. This was such a great investment. It's so easy to travel with too!!!!!

Pros: 1. It is as portable and packable as an inkjet can get while still working reliably. 2. You can print from your mobile device directly without wifi, no more running around to print out a document. I literally forward the pdf like I’m gonna text it to somebody but hit the print button instead, the printer generates a QR code for your phone to scan for direct connection. The settings can be changed for limited access or to require a password, but I just keep mine open. So easy. 3. It has settings for quiet mode and for ink reservation. . . nifty. 4. The battery pack option is life changing for us because we have a toddler who unfortunately loves electrical cords. Cons: 1. Don't even begin to consider it for photo printing, it’s not that type of printer. It CAN print photos in a pinch, or for printing out a quick joke page to hang in the office, but it’s not really for photos. 2. The lid and closure don’t seem very resilient, but I can’t say I have had an issue with it yet. 3. Don't expect an insane ink capacity, but do expect being able to print an impressive amount for such a small piece of equipment. I personally believe that the pros vastly outweigh the cons for necessary printing. I also just like Canon as a company much much more than some other printing and computer companies which shall remain unnamed.

Just what I needed. A printer that doesn't hog up space on my worktable. Bluetooth connection works fine, setup is easy and it prints in a timely fashion. Would recommend going to Canon's website and following the instructions there. The only difficulty I have had so far is that the printer does not recognize certain printing formats on my laptop computer, but that is likely a computer problem and not a result of the printer itself (the jury is still out on this). I purchased a battery for the printer, which is sold separately, and now I can take it anywhere I go. The overall size of the item is nice and portable. Just keep in mind that this printer does not scan. It is print only.

It is a really good portable printer. Very easy to use and very high quality of printing. An excellent purchase.

I love this printer. We’ve had the TR150 (older model) for home and travel. It’s a great size for traveling, has really good quality and performs well. Printing photos aren’t perfect but acceptable to our large Brother office printer.

So Nice! But not giving it 5 🌟's yet because just got it and started using it. So far it's preforming well. I scanned the bar code form that came with Simi instructions and went through the online setup step by step, and for me it was Voila! AND you don't need to subscribe and pay to print! I was printing from my phone just like that! As shown in my video. Thank you Father God! If this just would have had a flat scanner for reprinting forms or pics I'd give up my Hp Subscription all together lickady-split... Im not tech sabby at all! But they made it so easy to get it to going. Also I did read other reviews and their issues with this machine. But im not seeing any of that, and hopefully theres no "yet". You can take this thing anywhere. Anywhere there is a Plug that is. You can even print in your "Car"! If suddenly you need a quick Copy and you Huge "Non traveling" Printer is way across town at home or don't want to pay at a Shipping Store. Or thats place is even too far away from where your at. This is a convenient solution... I'm So so happy something like this is affordable especially for the lower income people.✋️ this also comes with all the plugs you need for Cars and into walls. The color quality is really nice. I just dont like to do the darker print to save on Ink. Also Ink is about $15 for bother Black and Color pack all bundled together if you do a good seach on Amazon. So hope this all helps in making decision to purchase.. Just wish it was cordless. God Bless!

I received the printer pretty quickly through PRIME service. The printer came in the US plug, so need to use a adapter which is expected. The printer size is just right for my small apartment and the print quality is good. Thank you for the good offer Amazon!

Expensive but great for travel and prints very well.
