It works
Tried out my new thermometer today. My old thermometer cracked after 20+ years of use and it was this style with the candy stages marked. When I opened this, I noticed that the hard crack stage was marked a little high compared to the temperature gauge. On my old thermometer it was marked at 300 degrees, this one says it's 320. My husband says it's because of global warming.... ;) But I was a little concerned since I didn't know which was right on the thermometer, the numbers or the stages. So I had to test the old fashioned way with water and a drop of the candy. The numbers are accurate. And most of the stages marked are at the right temp...although hard crack starts at 300 not 320. My candy turned out fine. I know the difference so hence the 3 star rating. It works.

Easy to use and very straightforward
Seems to be doing its job! Easy to use and very straightforward. Glad I can easily take temperatures for water when baking bread so I don't kill the yeast; hoping to start using it for making Christmas candy soon.

Works PERFECTLY STIIL!! I ordered this about 4-5 months ago. I TOTALLY FORGOT to write a review!! I had to sell my cell phone and that was my only means of access to the internet!! But this thermometer has been dropped quite a few times, but i still got it!

Gets the Job Done
Just what I needed to try making my first toffee and for a good price. My first batch came out just a little... chewier than I would have preferred, but I think that was more to user error/my own fear of messing up than a reflection on the product! Overall it was easy to use, and I think it's going to be getting a lot of use this holiday season!

I used it once
Used once. Did not drop or abuse the product. When I left it in the sink to let the candy melt off, it filled with water. Obviously it was damaged prior to use. There is no way to contact seller.Be careful. I had to throw out what I made

Replacement of the product.
I bought this without noticing that it was already broken.after some days when I went to use it, I found the candy thermometer is already broken.I have no idea how to complaint .please do something o replace it.
