Absolute beginner!
Bad news first. This was delivered one month ago on my 50th birthday when I weighed nearly 20 stone! As a work obsessed and stressed person who used to drink and eat a lot without getting exercise, this purchase was something of a gamble, but I needed to change my lifestyle or risk a "clasper".The stepper itself is great, a very solid build, adjustable to 6, 8 or 10 inches off the ground, (clearly I was a 6). Even with my weight, the stepper remained solid and does not move while I am shaking my stuff around. The set up instructions contained four small pictures and no words, so you have to figure out how to adjust it yourself and there are no other instructions whatsoever.I knew the selection of a DVD was as important a choice as the brand of stepper itself. I had seen previous reviews complaining about the quality of the DVD, so I contacted the seller and Reebok before purchasing. The supply of the DVD is down to the seller, not Reebok. When I contacted the seller, they agreed to supply a new DVD with my Reebok Original Stepper. I was very lucky; I got Reebok's "20th Anniversary Celebration DVD", (1989-2009) sponsored by Reebok and fronted by Gin Miller. It was set up in English, with an option on the Menu for additional languages. It is a truly excellent DVD for someone new to stepping. Reebok Customer Services were helpful on the phone and can be contacted on: 0800 440 2459.The first part of the DVD is Gin Miller only, she talks about safety and taking your pulse, then she guides you through the steps you will be using in a very simple way. Remarkably, I understood it and I was not scared at all. Then the DVD moves into the main routine. Nine dancers, a combination of men and women, all with legs like oak trees, start doing their stuff to a live African band playing an exotic mixture of bongo and dance music! It was quite good even though I would prefer 1970s disco music! The dancers started with a 5- 10 minute warm up in front of their steppers, then they moved on to simple routines on the steppers. About 20 minutes into the routines, the clever stuff starts to begin and the dancers start doing routines that scared the life out of me. They reached a point where they were using the steppers to do push ups and crunches and then moved forward to a point where I did not even watch as it was so far beyond what I was ever going to realistically achieve. Even the dancers with oak tree legs looked completely knackered three quarters of the way though. So, one month later, with this exercise and a strict diet, I have lost a stone and a half. I use it about four times a week. I feel fitter and I can now get past the warm up and can just about manage the first 15 minutes on the stepper. I will get better and I hope to get about half way through the DVD over the next few months. I want better health and fitness and this is excellent for me at my age as long as I am careful not to push it too far. I would recommend this stepper to people like myself who want a change of lifestyle, though I have to say that you need the determination not to be put off when you try it for the first time and get nauseous before the warm up is over!

Great solid step!
Compared to others I have seen, the Reebok step is a lot heavier and very solidly constructed, the step area is deep and wide, so it provides both a good foot area and also is very suitable for exercises such as tricep dips. It provides three step heights: 15cm, 20cm and 25cm - which is perfect for my needs. It cost more than I had initially planned to spend, but overall I am happy with my purchase.

Professional Quality Step
The Reebok Step is a professional quality one, not a filmsy 'I-am-going-to-slip-as-soon-as-you-step-on-me' step like other cheaper options. This is the step you find in gyms all over the world, so you know it is going to be good. The three different options in height makes it very versatile!Just one important thing: check it's size, because it is quite big.I was surprised when I put it on my bedroom floor.Overall, a very very good quality step.

well worth the money
This is the step I was using with my trainer at the gym when I was getting back in shape. It is a bit more expensive than other steps but well worth it. If you want a proper workout, don't waste your money on cheap steps that are only 10 or 15 cm high. I always use the highest height - 25cm - and I am not a very sporty person, so if I can do it, so can you :-)the top is bumpy, but that does not bother me, and it is quite big, but sturdy and very good quality.very fast delivery

Great aerobic step.....pity about the poor quality dvd
Step arrived promptly and is exactly the dimensions I wanted. It is very stable (much more so than the Reebok steps of old, with the feet that became slightly loose after a few uses) so you can be confident that it isn't going to move when you are working out.The only criticism I have does not relate to the step but to the dvd that was included. Half way through using the dvd, the audio and the video go out of sync, which was really frustrating (and confusing) as I was quite enjoying the workout. It is a real pity that there seems to be no option to contact the seller to see if this can be replaced! All in all, the step itself is an excellent product and I can highly recommend it.

Worth the investment
Bigger than expected but that suits the workout I'm using it for. Remains stable whichever height you use it at. DVD included.Sturdy but not overly heavy. Definitely worth the price which was a lot lower than the reebok site.Very pleased.

Use with confidence, 3 heights.
I’ve had one for over a year now, and it’s as good as new. I’ve recently bought my daughter one, and she loves it. It’s worth noting that this step is longer than some of the cheeper competitors, you can do a good v-step, and comfortable for bench presses.

Excellent Reebok step
Solid and very stable step. Great DVD with it too, with lots of great ideas of how to use it, and advice on how to use it safely. More expensive than most of the others I looked at, but I bought the Reebok step because I'd read how stable it was. It is worth the additional money. It looks like it will out last me! I'm very happy with this purchase. :-)
