iNITIAL impressions
This watch is a direct AMAZON purchase. It arrived today, and is DEFINITLY SWISS MADE.Not SWISS PARTS made in THAILAND.It fuctions perfectly, as to accuracy AND Hand positions to their index marks.It its flawlessly finished And BIG! When I say Big, I mean heavy too. It has a LOONG bracelet, and is built for a LARGE wrist or more likely display.It's one of the nicest INVICTA watches I've seen, and I have many (20?)It's Calibre is a RONDA 8040N, RONDA's top of the line Chronograph day/Date. Swiss Made means 13 Jewels, Gilt as opposed to "Swiss Parts" which is 6 Jewels, nickle plated. One (13 Jewels) is twice the quality of the other. Their fuctions are identical. Reason: Cost.I'm still testing it and will report back on accuracy and any other negitive impressions.So far under $400 is a bargin. Invicta is becoming a MAJOR force in watchmaking.Thanks to all who put it my hands!UPDATE: This watch has passed the 24 hour Chronograph Test with 100% accuracy. Dead on my Atomic clock. It still continues to run at 100% in watch mode.I should mention-The BEZEL: It is perfectly smooth with 1/2 min click intervals. It is LARGE, easy to turn and accurate to whatever setting you choose. It has a very firm and positive click which is VERY satisfying. No wobble or loseness at all.It is capped by domed Sapphire crystal, which is beatifully set and gives the watch a "Quality Depth" with a really nice Blue Cast."RUNS LIKE A SWISS WATCH " couldn't be truer.

Love it !
I've had this watch for 6 years now and wear it almost every day . Still looks fantastic , yes it has wear marks on it but nothing major . I've only had to have two new batteries in that time . It keeps perfect time and I get compliments on it ALL the time . It's not a watch for light weights though as it weighs a full one pound ! I'm very hard on watches so this is the longest I've ever had one last ( By a long shot ! ) and I believe it'll last me many more years . I've retouched the hash marks and numbers a couple of times as they do wear off . Flat out it's the best watch I've ever owned ( Toughness wise ) and I'm very glad I got it as there's nothing better than a watch you can count on ! If I ever see another one for sale I'll buy it in a heartbeat and keep it just as a dress watch ...LOL... ****

Beautiful watch but Poor crown design!
I received the watch and it was the most beautiful timepiece that I had ever purchased, heavy and massive but really impressive. BUT...The crown fell off of the watch after the third time I wore it, that's within two weeks of owning the watch. It appears that the crown has to be constantly monitored to ensure it doesn't unwind and fall off of the watch. Shortly after my crown fell off, I registered the watch for the warranty. I then submitted an online warranty claim via [...]and I never received an email or confirmation of the claim as instructed by Invicta. I tried to search the status of the claim on Invicta's website and it never appeared. So, I was forced to call them and I was given two options, send the watch in and wait up to 90 days for a repair (covered under the warranty) or pay $15 for a new crown and wait up to 90 days for the crown to be shipped to me. Given my experience with the company thus far I wasn't shipping my watch to them to possibly end up missing; so I elected to purchase the crown. After paying significant money for the watch $15 for a crown isn't the worst thing in the world. I just hope they don't take 90 days to ship the part. If they take 60 or 90 days to ship the part I will never purchase another Invicta watch, NEVER EVER AGAIN!

Sweet watch!
Invicta makes great watches. This one is no exception. The Venom series is the coolest looking watch in my opinion. When I took this into the jewler to get it sized I had a group of people gather around oooohing and ahhhing over it.This is a BIG watch, and its heavy, almost a pound. The band on it adds a lot of weight. You could move to a rubberized band and its much lighter.Dont get me wrong thought, its heavy but super cool!The only person I might shy away from this is someone that is very small as it would be too big and heavy. Other than that, BUY THIS WATCH!Oh and did I mention that buying through Amazon give you a 5 year warranty upgrade along with your purchase!

This is how the additional band came over , in the process of a return , also item showed “ Swiss Made “ in picture that I purchased from off Amazon doesn’t show that on watch that arrived, own several invicta watches so suprised and disappointed on how this one showed up !

love this watch
Love this watch. I have a few invictas and this one is by far my favorite. The movement is great, keeps perfect time, looks great. Adjusting the links is tricky, but grab the tool if necessary. This watch is big and heavy, like every other review mentions so take that into account before purchasing. I'll likely be buying another invicta soon, just stick to swiss made models.
