I have performed and recorded professionally (30 years) and honestly this mic beats everything I have owned so far for both studio and live performance.My style is Latin/flamenco/smooth jazz . It is perfect for my fusion flamenco guitar. I use 2 Bose compact towers for live and it is super accurate and loud. Great punchy response, warmth, emotional, beautiful range of frequencies, great separation from rooms and feedbacks.Overall incredible value and I highly recommend it!

These are FANTASTIC microphones. They are warm, but not too warm and have a great, crispy response.The included mount is of great build quality and I have had no phase issues, however, they included microphone mounts are not shock mounts. Nontheless, I have also had no issues in picking up vibrations. I pair the mics with a Manfrotto Master Stand when I record classical music performances. NOT LISTED in the contents of the case are two adapters that allow you to go from I believe a 5/8" mount to a standard microphone mount so you will not need to buy anything additional if you pair it with the Manfrotto stand mentioned above. The case is great! The hinges do not feel at all like they would randomly come undone and the padding covers the mics on all sides well. These mics worked well for recording an orchestra, but beware of the dynamic range of the orchestra. You will need to setup your DAW to record at very high and very low levels simultaneously. If you record an orchestra, you will probably want to use more mics in the first place.Message me if you would like to hear sample recordings of vocal and cello/piano performances recorded in an ORTF setup.

Wonderful stereo pair for the church choir and instruments

Violins, drum overhead, chorus, this is the everything mic. Beautiful sound. I've tried lots of other mics and none have the same full range pick up while being so feedback resistant.

Great mics. The price is fair for such high performance.

I am using these microphones with a small group of singers out here in bush Alaska. They work really well but can sometimes be overpowering. I recommend playing around with distance from the source and some settings on your mixer to get them just right (it took me some time). Highly recommended, if it's within your budget.

Used for recording stringed instrument, an oud. Very clear, crisp transparent reproduction. Everything it promises and more.

The KSM 137 works especially well with classical guitar whether in a recording or a live context. Well worth the the money.

We use these mics for our jazz accordion group, primarily for shows/concerts. Mic'ing accordions can be tricky, often requiring mics for both the right hand and left hand. But not with these. One mic more than did the job, with true acoustic sound like we've never experienced before. Works great for acoustic/classical guitars as well.
