Funky Design and Pattern
This product has blown me away with the quality and design. The price point is amazing as well for the sturdiness and utility. I have been an Athalon fan for over twenty years and this has not disappointed.

It a snowboard bag, not a padded airplane checked bag - I wouldn't use for flying
Firstly, I rated this bag 3 stars because it really isn't that bad for ~$30. The issues I've had with the bag are my fault - I'm guessing. I'll outline what I did and what ended up happening to the bag when I flew with it. Mind you I bought this bag, packed my stuff and put it on the plane. I've had it less than a week.My equipment:164cm wide board with bindings attachedSize 13 bootsHelmet, Goggles and random gear.I bought this bag for a trip to Colorado and purchased it knowing it wasn't a fully padded bag. Actually there isn't any padding at all in this bag. It's literally a few centimeters thick of tarp like material. The material feels sturdy, but the seams don't seem to be (although they actually held up).Since there wasn't any padding I tossed in a light weight blanket under the board and wrapped my board in two jackets on each end to add some protection. The 170cm bag fit the board, two wrapped jackets on each end and the blanket without any issues at all - there's actually a little room at the tip and tail. This bag is big.I was able to then fit my two size 13 boots in between the binding without any issues. My bindings are still attached to the board, fyi. On the other sides of the bindings I was able to fit a compression sack with pants/gear and the the helmet and goggles on the other end. This bag does have a ton of space in it. No joke.In total my bag weighed ~30lbs when weighed at the airport. So, everything is in my bag and weighs ~30 lbs. The bag makes it to the airport without issues, but when I went to pick it up in Denver those wonderful TSA monkeys opened my bag so very skillfully. The zipper was miss-aligned and opened. You know, like when you used to zip your jacked wrong and the the zipper would come apart. It took some messing around with, but eventually I got the zipper re-aligned and closed. Love you TSA! If only I could come to your home and crap on your loved possessions. The zipper is aligned and we're ready to go. Copper Mountain here we come! I reach down to grab the attached handle and it pops off. Er. Wait. Where not going anywhere. Those TSA/baggage throwers must have roided up before work and yanked my bag around like their "you know what" member. The bag has two rivets that hold the handle onto the bag - the one closest to the handle was under stress and popped out causing the other one two give out when I picked up the bag. I now have a handle that is attached at one end. Yay me!Luckily Athalon provided a shoulder strap. The shoulder strap is attached to two D rings on each end of the bag. Strap attached, here we go. Lifting the bag by the shoulder strap and getting it into position over my shoulder... the D ring gives out. Bag crashes to the floor. I now have an awesome snowboard bag with no real easy way to carry it.Okay. This could have been from the ~30 lbs of equipment, but I really don't think 30lbs is that crazy of a weight to expect to be able to toss in a snowboard bag.I was able to remove the D ring from the strap and use the hook part to attach it to where the D ring used to be, but this was causing issues as well. The nylon piece that the strap is now connected to is pulling the stitching away from the bag. If I had to use this solution long term I guarantee that the nylon would rip from the bag.In addition, I can see were the seams that run length wise on the bag are starting to be stretched a little to their maximum and the little black threads are exposed. This is probably because I have a set of size 13 squatchy boots in there. So, this bag will hold a 164 cm wide board, bindings attached, two size 13 boots, a helmet, goggles, two jackets, two pairs of snow pants, base layer, helmet liner and a blanket, but the bag wont hold up to the weight while checking, flying and being abused by those wunderspunk TSA douches.Final Thoughts:If you're going to use this as a bag to just hold your board, bindings, boots and some other randoms stuff while you DRIVE to the mountain, then go to town on this thing for ~$30... but if you're placing your board in the hand of some TSA monkey then I'd go another route. The non-sturdy straps and lack of padding make this an angry TSA throwers dream come true.I went with the lumber jack pattern expecting something ugly (cause I like ugly), but the damn thing is bad ass. The pattern and look got multiple compliments from people. So that's a positive.

Best sports bag I never knew I needed
I use this for my outdoor volleyball net, and it works like a dream. Fits my net and a ball - could fit several balls - and has room to spare. Shoulder strap is great. Zipper looks like it will last. 10\10 would use for other sports as well, up to and including a snowboard I guess, if that's your thing.

Holds all of my teenโs snowboard gear, is durable, and easily distinguishable from everyone elseโs bags. And he loves it.

The bag looks sturdy enough, I've only taken it out on a ...
******************************** UPDATE: Feb 1st, 2016 ********************************We finally got some snow on the East Coast and I managed to test this bag properly.I didn't go through TFA but I did take the subway, walked 10 blocks and took a bus with my bag packed with my snowboard, boots, helmet, gloves... the whole shebang. One thing to note is that the bag is very long - longer than your snowboard (I think it was meant for skis). So whenever you need to go down stairs, you need to be careful not to bang the bottom of the bag on the stairs behind you. This also means that the shoulder strap is basically unusable as the bag is not one solid piece so it wrinkles up and gets very uncomfortable to carry. A lot of the weight goes to a single point of the shoulder strap. I fully expect it to tear very easily.I had to carry the whole bag in front of me supporting it with both hands.Reducing my rating to 3 stars - the bag is still in one piece and is big enough to to fit everything you need for the slopes. And as long as you don't have to carry it long distances it's going to be ok.Also, it's also pretty cute :)****************************************************************************************************************I haven't had the chance to try the bag out at an airport yet so I might have to update this review. The bag is really cute and surprisingly spacious. I can fit my board, boots, helmet, ski pants and ski jacket... and I still have more space! My board is 155cm and I wear size 8 boots. The bag looks sturdy enough, I've only taken it out on a road trip so far but I think it should be fine on a plane - then again, you never know with TFA.

Great Bag
I am very impressed with the bag. One trip we had to ride in a two-door coup, so not a lot of room to say the least. I was able to squeeze three boards into that bag (154, 152, 140) Most other trips its just my board and my gear. Its awesome being able to operate out of one bag at the resort when your gearing up at your car. Another plus is the bag being water proof. I get done riding and stuff all my gear back into this bag and none of the snow gets all over the car. The bag isn't padded so airports are out of the question but its totally worth it for roadtrips. The reason I gave it three stars is not because of the bag, but because of the terrible service I recieved from FOGDOG. I decided the day after I ordered the bag that I didn't want it, because of the bag not being padded, I would not be able to fly with it. I recieved the email from Amazon telling me when my product was going to ship, which is to say it was going to ship ten days after originally purchase. I contacted FOGDOG immediately and asked for them to cancel my order. I recieved an email back from them stating "In order for us to provide excellent service and expedite the product to get it to you as fast as possible, FOGDOG will be unable to cancel your order" I sent an email back explaining that the bag wasn't do to ship out for another ten days so they had plenty of time to make good on my request. I pretty much got a sorry disclaimer. Get the bag if you make lots of road trips, but stay away from FOGDOG.

Great for SALE price
I just got this in today. On a sunday... :DAnyways, I actually couldn't wait to review this product.First of all I have to say the fact that I got in on sale for a little over 50$ adds to the star and happiness factor. With that said, The product is great for what I needed! Its more or less fully water proof.Although it does not come with padding ( for out of country travel and what ever else ) I don't need padding since I only go on day trips. The design in really nice (night vision) and of higher quality then i expected. As well it comes with a pocket (other bags in the 50 price zone do not!)Its also big enough to hold my boots and helm which is a BIG plus.I haven't used it yet but I will soon with no doubt in my mind ill be happy with it.AND the zippers are BEER BOTTLE OPENERS !!! (but whos going to use that while snowboarding or driving).

Dope big bag
I loved it. It has enough room to fit all your hear. I was able to fit my boots, helmet and my snowboard with bindings. You can easily fit some tools and clothes too. There is an outside pocket and another one inside. But notice that it isnโt padded, so if you are looking for extra protection this is not the right bag for you, otherwise you definitely will be happy with this. The material is very reliable and everything well made

Awesome sized snowboard bag
Grandson is amazed with this bag. He was able to stow snowboard (156 cm) with attached binders, helmet, boots, gloves, pants and lunchbox then just throw it over his shoulder. Shoutout to buyers who gave go ahead when I queried the size.

Well made, double-layer, non-padded bag with sturdy metal zippers and plenty of room
Well made in terms of material and craftsmanship. Double-layer with waterproof membrane on the inside. My wife can fit her entire snowboard (160 cm) gear including boots, helmet, goggles, gloves and pants inside and still has room left. The only concern I have is that the handle attached to the bag is narrow and so I'm not sure how long it will hold if you carry it around using the handle all the time. You just have to be careful and don't yank it so that you won't tear the bag or break the stitches.
