Shark CryoGlow LED Face Mask in Lilac Frost, FW312PL

I love this mask! I had been wanting to try a led mask for a while now but have been nervous to purchase from an unknown brand. I was excited to see this from Shark, I already have many of their products and have never had a problem. I see they also have a great warranty. I was a little nervous about the comfort after reading reviews commenting on the fit of the eye pads. I do agree that they tend to push on my upper cheek bone but it’s not terrible and I am sure I could play around with it to get a better fit if it really bothered me. I like the cooling fans a lot, they do drain the battery but charging is simple so I don’t see a problem. I have been using it consistently for a couple weeks (I do 3 cycles back to back because 6 minutes feels short) and I already see an improvement in my skin tone and possibly my smile lines. You need to be sure to moisturize after because I do notice a slight bit of increased irritation/dryness (possibly because I use more than directed, but it makes me feel like it’s working!) My husband made fun of me at first and didn’t believe they work but now I catch him using it after he read it can help heal scars (he had a large skin cancer removed recently).

I looked for a reputable red light for a while to help with fine lines, tone, and general quality of my skin. This has become part of my new nighttime routine. I love the multiple settings so I don’t need to figure anything out. Charging is easy and lasts through many sessions. The quality of my skin is improving already. I love the eye cooling. It’s relaxing.

I’ve noticed the difference in a month. I bought this for my wife after doing research and I’m glad I did. She loves it and her skin is noticeably younger looking. The cold feature for under the eyes has also improved the skin in those areas. I own a few Shark products, and like those , the quality level is high. Very pleased with This purchase.

I may be deluding myself but I think that this LED mask actually has improved my facial skin - better color, texture, "glow". Cheaper on Amazon than the Shark web site or even Costco. I have to laugh at how it makes me look like a horror movie character while using it but usually no one sees me. I even carried it with me to NYC in carry on luggage because I didn't want to break the initial 8 week treatment regimen. Now I'm in maintenance mode. Wish it would get the under eye areas but the cooling pads interfere with that.

I’ve learned not to mess around with the super brands, and Shark continues to prove why they’re one of the best on the market. This face mask is incredibly well-designed, sturdy, and surprisingly comfortable to wear. The under-eye cooling feature is amazing and feels so refreshing after a long day. What I love most is that you don’t have to wear it for a long time to see and feel results. The treatment sessions are short, convenient, and easy to fit into a busy schedule. The mask feels high quality, fits well, and doesn’t feel flimsy like some beauty devices. I absolutely love this product and would buy it again without hesitation. I’ve been using the mask daily for the last 3 months (using the acne program), and I really do like it. I don’t think I started to see results until relatively recently, but lately, I've noticed that the overall quality of my skin is better. Has it helped my acne? Unfortunately, no, I don't think it has, but I do definitely notice an improvement in my skin in general. The mask is very comfortable, and frankly, I’ve come to really enjoy the 8 minute routine as it makes me sit down and relax for a few minutes. I should note that it is entirely possible to walk around with the mask on without any issues—I just choose not to. There are a few things that I don’t love about the mask. First, the battery life is not the best. I can do 3-4 cycles before it needs to be recharged, which takes a few hours. That's not awful, but it would be nice if the battery were able to last a few more rounds before needing to be charged up. Second, and this might be different for other people with differently shaped faces, but the mask really doesn’t hit my jawline at all. I wish it came further down so that it covered the jawline. Lastly, while I do really enjoy the cooling eye pads, I wish they were interchangeable with normal mask lights. I like the eye pads, but my under eyes could really use the red light, and I wish I could do both. I obviously knew this wasn’t going to be possible when I bought it, and I bought it anyway, but I’m hoping Shark makes a second version with some improvements, that being one of them. Overall, if they could make some improvements to the battery life, the length of the mask (to cover the jawline), and to somehow incorporate red light in the under-eye area, it would be my perfect mask. Overall, though, I like the mask, and I do think it’s helping my skin quality overall.

I've been using the Dermabeam pro for 3 years, but decided it was time to upgrade to a more powerful mask. After comparing the Shark Cryoglow with the iRestore and dr. Dennis Gross mask, I went with this one. It is really comfortable once its on. Its not as heavy as you would expect. The remote is super high-tech. The remote has an LED screen that allows you to select your treatment (better aging, acne treatment, or skin maintenance) and allows you to turn off the cryo pads under the eyes or turn them up in intensity. The remote also keeps track of your treatments and displays the countdown time once you start. As with most LED masks, the eye protection component is not perfect. The light does leak out a bit into the eye area, which can be unpleasantly bright. But since the treatment with this mask is only 6 minutes, I just lay down with my eyes closed for the duration. Its leaves a bit of an "afterglow" in my vision for a bit afterwards. Everything looks green-tinged for about 5 minutes, similar to if you were laying in the sun with your eyes closed. My old LED mask did the same thing even though that one had goggles attached. I think its just to be expected and is listed as a risk factor on the warnings with this mask. which is why I never use them with my eyes open. I dont like the cryo component. It kind of burns and feels like holding ice on your skin, even on the loe setting. My skin puffs up in response to it, so I just turn it off, they are still quite cold even with the setting off since they are little metal inserts under the eye of the mask that are not removeable. Overall, I think it's a good competitor to the other masks on the market in similar price points. Im glad I got it, but I do wish they made a model that did not have the stupid cryo setting under the eye, as there is also no LEDs in that spot, and a lot of people want to target crows feet in this area.
