Bright Starts Bounce Bounce Baby Activity Zone (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

Other people have mentioned issues with the paint chipping off, but I haven't had any problems of that sort so far - we've been using this for over 3 months now. I got this for a great price (I think it was around $30), and although there aren't any sounds or flashing lights, that's great because it doesn't need batteries! The toys are still all fun, and it was awesome watching my daughter interact with them more and more as she grew older (we started letting her play in it when she was only about 3 months old). She even loves what I thought would be the most boring/ignored part, the bendy leaf next to the flower.The one thing that isn't as great about this is that the little ratcheting lion hanging off of the "tree" mirror no longer ratchets, it just kind of moves around... not sure when or how that happened, and it doesn't seem to bother her any.When we first started using this, she was much too short, but we just put a pillow on top of the platform so that her feet were able to touch the ground and she wasn't just crotch-dangling.Assembly was not really that difficult, the hardest part was putting the seat fabric on... some of the seams didn't seem to quite match up right, but with some effort we got it going.

I got this mainly to have a safe place to put my baby in and get some laundry and cleaning done around the house, I put it together by myself (my husband is the handy man around here) and it was fairly easy even for a girl! Lol as soon as I put my baby in there she loved it, she been using it for 2 months (got it when she was 6, she's 8 months now) , few times a day, everyday. She figured out it circles around all the toys immediately. I love that it has places where you can hang other toys, I hung a little piano thingy that I got for 5 dlls at Walmart so now it's has music and lights just like the expensive ones.I wanted a jumperoo but the prices scared me so I decided my baby doesn't need to jump lol this one doesn't, it has stretchy cords attached to the bottom but I guess it's only no make it a little bouncy just so that they don't stand on a hard surface. But IT DOESN'T BOUNCE at all, if that's what you're going for, this isn't for you.If you want a place where you can put your baby for a little bit and eat lunch of get something done without having to hold them or worry, then go for it! My baby loves it she would stay there longer, all the toys are entertaining for her and of course she chews on all of them, like I said you can hang other toys that your baby likes and I have attached her cold teether too!

I ordered this product and when it arrived I fell in love with it immediately. It took some time to put together but I can't tell you how much my son enjoys it. He is just 4 months old but he can hold himself up very well, I just have to prop a blanket behind him because the seat is pretty big. The back is high so it provides quite a bit of support. The base is pretty sturdy so I am not so worried about him bouncing around and it is nice that the bottom platform is adjustable, so it will grow with him.Update: It has been 2 months since I bought this and my son uses it daily. I have to prop the bottom platform up with a box because his legs are still a little short to reach. Please note: he was a preemie so he is smaller than most 6 month babies. The bouncer is very light weight and is easy to carry into his room from the living room. I have no complaints as my son can spend hours hanging out in it and seems to enjoy himself very much!

I purchased this item for my 6 month old baby. We are short on space and thought that this looked like a great option. It is considerably smaller than other versions that we have owned in the past. It's smaller size doesn't mean less activities, though. The assembly was easy and straight forward (although it should be noted that the giraffe and lion can be inadvertently reversed, causing a backward placement). The unit advertises bouncing as a feature, but it's not really what you would expect from the word bounce. It's more like the platform gives when the baby pushes against it. ONE IMPORTANT NOTE: The triangle shape is not the same as the saucers in stability. It is not possible to slide the unit with the child in it from one room to the next as the saucer ones allow. THE UNIT WILL TURN OVER IF MOVED WHILE THE BABY IS IN IT. If you have other children who might be tempted to move the unit while baby is in it, I would not get this.

I bought this item because i needed something for the baby at a second (part time) location. I have had this item for 3 weeks and although i am satisfied - here are my honest thoughts.PROS: the price was great. Item went together quickly. baby enjoys it.CONS: It isn't as steardy as I would like it to be (a little wobbly). The attached toys seem as if they should bend more friendly to a childs tug( they seem stiff and fear of snapping concerns me). My wife cut her finger on the under edges of the white activity area(it was on the plastic - like a paper cut) the baby has begun to crawl and pull herself up to a standing positon - so she now has access to that area.

I got this for my grandchild, and am very happy with it. It was used for just a few days, and likely won't be used again for quite a few months, if at all, so I am pleased with the low price. The baby is about 6 months old and sits by herself but doesn't crawl. She loved being vertical and liked the toys, but they are too tall and are not on flexible stems, so she couldn't get most of them in her mouth. That's why I gave it 4 stars. We found it easy to put together--you just have to follow the pictures carefully. It seems sturdy enough for short-term usage, but doesn't look like something you could pass down through numerous children

Quality is very good...need 2 people to assemble it completely...parts were very dusty...but too good for the price

Je recommande a tous les parents, ma fille qui a partir de 4 mois ne voulait plu aller dans le transat s'y est tout de suite plu. Je l'y ai mise jusqu'a ses 9 mois, apres elle ce penchait trop cela devenait dangereux.Mais ce produit est super, en ete on la metait dehors dans le jardin et ma fille en ete tres heureuse !
