The square brackets that first go onto the axle had an opening that was too small to fit over the main bolt that fits closest to the bike, but I installed it on top anyway and just made sure to tighten it well, and the whole set up is very sturdy. Much sturdier and better quality than the Schwinn training wheels that came with the bike. For those complaining about the light-up function -- the wheels light up only if they're touching the ground and spinning quickly.

These training wheels were a great addition to my child’s bike. Installation was straightforward, and once installed they felt sturdy and secure. Don’t waste your money on this China made cheap junk. My granddaughter was so excited and waiting for the training wheels to come so she could ride her new bike. Literally her first turn the metal arm bent. I straightened it and she turn to the other side and the other side bent. Now they just bend if she puts any weight to either side. The wheels are cool the way they light up, but it doesn’t help with the cheap brackets and you can’t use them.

The beautiful rose color is very cute and matched my child’s bike nicely. The training wheels do the job and provide the stability needed while learning to ride. However, I was disappointed that the wheels do not glow as expected. They also have a somewhat cheap plastic feel to them, which makes me question how well they’ll hold up over time.
