I had this for roughly four months. Easy installation was a dream and was the big selling factor on why I bought it. Everything seemed good. Today, I had my switch to on my bed while I was trying to grab an sd card on on my window sill above my head. As i fumbled around for it, a pair of nail clippers got bumped off the sill and hit my switch. It didnt make a dramatic cracking or snapping noise, just a quick sharp thud, like the sound of dropping a game case or something on the floor. I found the sd card, picked up the clippers and put them back by the window... I didnt notice for several hours the screen was cracked. Cracked. Thanks to a pair of cheap nail clippers and a 2 foot drop.

We upgraded from Switch to Switch 2 for Xmas so I bought this set of screen protectors. I had zero issues applying the screen protector on the original Switch and it didn’t come with any type of applicator guide like this one so I was expecting great results. I followed all of the instructions very carefully and the first protector ended up with bubbles I couldn’t rub out. I removed that one and cleaned everything again and attempted with the second screen protector and the couple of big air pockets it had I was able to rub away, but there was some sort of quarter inch bubble that I couldn’t do anything with. I read that some people had bubbles that went away after a day but I’ve had this on for over a week and it hasn’t changed at all. Nothing I’ve tried has improved the situation so I reached out to the company and they never replied. Even though it has a ton of good reviews, I wouldn’t buy again nor recommend.

I used both protectors to ensure my issue wasn't somehow user error — I followed the instructions as listed and both times, even though my screen was wiped clean and free of dust, when the tempered glass itself was applied, it has smudgey dots everywhere. It's not bubbles from dust in between, it's smudges. This happened both times I applied the protectors. I'm sure it protects the screen fine, but it's visually unpleasant.

It went on okay and fits well. I applied this as SOON as I even unboxed my brand new Switch. It looked really nice when first applied. However, in just the 3-4 times that I've undocked/redocked my Switch, it already has scratches. This Switch has been incredibly lightly used thus far, so seeing scratches already is incredibly disappointing. At least they're on a screen protector, I guess. They're still annoying when playing undocked. It's also definitely not anti-fingerprint/smudge.

It came with 2 screen protectors, the first one didn’t even stick, the second one wasn’t even lined up right so I had to manually place it on, and I was curious as to the quality of the screen protector so I snapped the first one and it sent glass everywhere, screen protectors aren’t supposed to shatter like that, they are supposed to keep glass from shattering, it is not fingerprint proof. do not waste your money on this product.

Disappointing Experience – Poor Fit and Flawed Alignment Tool I had high hopes for the amFilm Auto-Alignment OneTouch screen protector, especially given their past reputation with Switch accessories. Unfortunately, this product was a major letdown and I wouldn’t recommend it for the Nintendo Switch 2. Auto-Alignment Tool? More Like Auto-Misalign The entire selling point of this screen protector is the “OneTouch” auto-alignment frame that’s supposed to make installation foolproof. In reality, it was anything but. The frame didn’t sit flush on the Switch 2 console, causing the protector to drop slightly off-center. I ended up with a noticeable gap along one edge and the protector overlapping the bezel on the other. I tried a second time using the spare protector (yes, I had to waste one), only to have the exact same issue. The frame simply does not line up properly with the Switch 2’s screen layout—it feels like this was rushed to market without enough testing. Bubble Trouble and Dust Frustration Despite following the instructions carefully in a clean environment, I still ended up with multiple air bubbles and trapped dust. The advertised “easy installation” experience turned into 30 minutes of frustration with a plastic card, trying to work out bubbles that just wouldn’t budge. The protector also seemed to attract dust more than others I’ve used in the past, likely due to the static from the alignment tray. Not Cut to Fit Another issue: the actual size of the screen protector doesn’t match the full screen of the Switch 2. It’s slightly undersized, leaving small slivers of exposed glass on the edges. For a product specifically designed for this model, that’s unacceptable. Final Verdict This product feels rushed, poorly tested, and overhyped. The auto-alignment tool completely failed, the protector didn’t fit the screen properly, and the installation was far from smooth. I’ve had better results with $5 generic protectors than with this premium-priced, “easy install” option. Save your money. This is not the amFilm quality.

Waste of money. 1 job and failed twice. Instructions not good. Fairly simple but first one I did wrong. 2nd one also failed so no screen protector and out the money. This review is all I got for my money.

The alignment frame is wonderful. Nevertheless, I ordered 4 of these. One was broken to start with. After three attempts of installing the screen protector, none of them were good. Despite thoroughly wet and dry wiping, the first two screen protectors had at least one major dust residue patch beneath them. The third screen protector install attempt left bubbles that could not be smoothed. A different brand of screen protector ended up working much better for me. I was able to install the ivoler 4-pack screen protector in just two attempts--and the second attempt resulted in a perfect application.
