Ameriwood Home Wildwood L Shaped Desk

I bought this because I saw in my FB feed and have been talking about replacing ours. (Go figure, FB knew). It did take a couple of weeks to get here, I did make the purchase around Christmas time. I began to read the reviews and was in a total panic. Most reviews had to do with showing up damaged. Luckily I met my delivery driver before the dropped and left. It was all in good shape, except for this small piece on a corner. Luckily, it got covered with another piece during assembly.Overall assembly instructions were easy, just don't have kids running circles around you so you don't mess up. Of course, it's not solid wood, cheaply made but sturdy if that makes sense. It can be easily damage but can hold the weight. It is fairly heavy. The single middle drawer scares me. That is where it is flimsy. I read a review where it just came undone. So I put cables and instructions in there, so the drawer itself won't get much use. It's pretty, I got the rustic grey. Do I recommend it? It just depends on preference. I wanted to get something solid wood, but didn't/ couldn't spend the extra bucks for it.

I can say that it is a good desk, it is very, very well packaged, they protected it very well, so as not to get hit, in the video it looks a little whiter, but it is not a problem. I can give it 5 stars, it's nice and modern, its texture feels great and it's very strong. I highly recommend it.

This review is for the 65 TV Stand.This is a great set, but I do have some issues with it that prevent it from being 5 stars in my book:1. This is not packaged well for transport and the box took some serious abuse. The internals held up much better than I had hoped for after seeing the abuse to the outside. It was still left with some minor, but noticeable, damage to the front edge of the top piece.2. I am not sure if this piece was a model or a return, but some of the items already had the cams in and the sticker warning about TV size was already applied. The TV I have has one stand on each end of the TV and does not have anything covering the middle, which left the sticker on display. Removing the sticker left a lot of residue so I used a small amount of goof-off to try to remove the adhesive and the veneer did not react well to it. Overall though, you can't really see the discoloration unless you're looking for it and I'll take it over the sticker any day.

Love love love this desk! Love the look! Love the function, love the shape! I bought 2, put the front to front and now both my husband and I have desk I’ma 10x10 room, along with a bookshelf and a lateral cabinet and there’s so much room!! Love this desk!! The one bad thing is the drawer. 1 of them was sticky upon assembly and the other appears to be getting sticky over time. The whole desk is sturdy but the drawer is cheap. Probably going to call the manufacturer and get 2 new drawers for both desks but other than that literally no complaints!!!

Only thing is drawer is not smooth. Keeps jamming and I have to pull hard to open. It should have been checked before shipping to customer. I will have to buy new tracks and install myself to get drawer to work. Rest of desk I love. Perfect size and sturdy material for at home desk.

One hole was misplaced and it would make the assembly impossible. I didn't have the time or patience of contacting customer service, so I asked my husband to partially break a piece so we can put it together. The broken piece is not visible so it is fine. In general, I love it. It is sturdy, feels like it will last a life long. The color is green grey not grey. The quality of paint is amazing. looks more expensive than it is! I also bought the matching bookshelf. The combo is beautiful. One design question that occurred to me is that by adding two simple holes they could make it flexible to be either left-handed or right-handed L. Why didn't they do it!?! Anyway, if you are handy, you can make it the way ypu want it.

One of the corners had minor damage but not bad enough to send it back. It was really easy to assemble and looks nice. Something to think about is it has groves in the desktop so you have to have something to write on and crumbs get caught in the groves.

I purchased this for my basement entryway, the shipment speed was very fast, everything came within 1 box which you would need a handcart to move around if you are alone. The overall construction of the product was pretty strong, however, I would recommend them to make sure they label all their pcs properly. I ran into problem during assembling because someone had mislabeled the E and F pcs which required me to dissemble some parts which resulted in broken cam locks. I contacted their customer service department the rep was very nice over the phone and send over my requested replacement parts within 1 week. Overall I am satisfied with this product hopefully it will last a long time.
