Old Trapper never disappoints. This peppered beef jerky is awesome—high quality, great texture, and packed with flavor. I also really like their hot & spicy version, but the peppered one hits that perfect balance of savory and bold without being overwhelming. I know some people worry about ordering jerky online because you can’t pick out the bag yourself like you can at the store, but honestly, Amazon makes it way too convenient. It shows up at your door, fresh, sealed, and consistent every time. The price is great, the quality is great, and I have zero complaints. I’ll definitely keep ordering it. My only “problem” is the salt content—high blood pressure means I should behave, but I love beef jerky too much and this stuff is worth it. If you’re on the fence, just get it. It’s genuinely great jerky.

Some of the best jerky! Great value too for the amount. Soft, and tasty, not overly hot either. Recommended over any other big name jerky brands.

BEST! Hands down! I discovered this brand and have never gone back to any other! Seriously I order this so frequently because the Amazon price is the best, the quality of the jerky is outstanding always moist never to dry, and the pepper is just right. Always a part of my protein routine!

Good peppered, beef jerky. Nice size pieces. Only issue, and this is mentioned in other reviews, it's VERY salty. Great flavor otherwise. Definitely want to limit how much you eat in one setting due to sodium intake

Old Trapper beef jerky is the best tasting in my book. The pieces always seem to be a little bit thicker, and taste better than that other brand is highly advertised. I like all of their flavors, except for the zero sugar. I give the zero sugar beef jerky about three stars...

This brand always is tasty. It has the right amount of Black pepper and Smokiness. Not to wet, not too dry and has a nice chew.

After ordering another brand I wasn't that impressed with I started looking around and it was thanks to customers like myself that take the time to leave reviews to find this product after several positive review speaking on how much better this product was compared to some of the others on the market. This jerky is very tender not that shoe leather style, thick some pieces thinner than others but still nonetheless thicker than other brands and perfectly peppered as well as smoked. Plus you also get more versus other competitors. I would purchase it more frequently but I get my jerky from another company that does smaller batches. Nonetheless good to have on hand and definitely beats the other two brands I've tried.

These days all I but is old trapper. Cheap and tastes great. My favorite is still the coins but these are more tender.
