Sticky Key (slow return) - Returned
One key was sticky (slow return) out of the box. Returned it and got the same model from a nearby store.

Amazing value
This thing sounds amazing! It’s great for a beginner. Quite frankly it sounds like it’s three times the price. The built-in speaker is perfectly good for around the house.

Tonal nuance
I’ve played a lot of keyboards. As a former professional pianist. I know music. This instrument has a volume and sound factor that is very unique. Tonal quality is ,quite nice. Words can’t describe sound. My first Kawai. And my last as I’m older. I can now play music ,into old age. And it will help me. Arregato Kawai .ps. I am upset about the reverb,,concert hall reverb? I can’t even tell if it’s on.

Keys do not work straight out of the box
First time to write a review an Amazon, but this is a terrible production. The middle G key came out not working properly out of the box. Not only the key does not sustain the tone properly like the other keys, but it also straight up doesn not work when pressed repeatedly or when another key is pressed. I was excited about this piano because of Kawai's record, and all the functionality at this price point, but you'd better stick to a Roland or a Yamaha at this price point.

Paid For A New Piano But Got A Used One
This has scuff marks on both sides of the piano and some in front. I paid for a new piano but got a used one. Very upsetting. Had I known this was used I would never have bought it. This is NOT Amazon's fault, it was the seller (Sweatwater) who sold a used piano. I won't buy anything this seller has for sale again. As for the piano itself, this sounds great, this is a good piano for beginners. Feels like a real piano, weighted graded keys. This will get you learning proper fingering when playing. I went from a cheaper digital piano, the kind with slippery plastic keys, and now it is like relearning how to play again because I am not used to fully weighted, graded keys. Do yourself a favor and start your piano journey with a piano that feels like a real acoustic piano. And this one is a good choice. Kawai makes a great sounding piano. My only HUGE complaint is the fact that this seller (not Amazon) sold me a used piano when I paid for a new one. I may be sending this back for an exchange and get a new one.
